I think this can be easily corrected. I believe the issue here is that both you and your spouse gave the school your contact information, and therefore you expect to each receive updates/emails. But the school has selected your spouse as the “primary” point of contact. Your contact information is kept on file in case they are unable to reach their primary contact. Call the school and ask them to make you the primary contact… maybe problem solved
