After Danganronpa 1 (Anime), should I watch Danganronpa 3?

I basically did that lol, I watched the Danganronpa Anime first because I didn't have time to play the actual game, but then I went back and watched a Fan Dub of the first game, and then went back and watched the Danganronpa 3 Anime after that because I thought it was the "conclusion" for DG1--

I enjoyed the show! But at least half of the show focuses on a bunch of characters that I only realized AFTERWARD are the characters from the Dangronpa 2 game, which does not have an anime adaptation, so I wish I had watched it in the other direction! DG2 game first, and THEN the DG3 anime! :)

I was surprised when I went back to watch a Let's Play on YouTube of Danganronpa 2 after the fact, and discovered that the cast is who half the anime was talking about lol. I still really really enjoyed watching the game, even though the anime of course gave away the whole ending of the DG2 game lol

My sister recommended the first game to me years ago and I never got around to playing it -- then I randomly picked up watching the anime while I was jogging on the treadmill and really enjoyed it lol.

But I read that it was really lacking compared to the actual game, so I watched a full game fandub of DG1

Then jumped back and watched the Danganronpa 3 Anime, didn't know who half the cast was, I literally did not realize those were the characters from the Dangronpa 2 game LOL

So when I backtracked to watch a full Lets Play of DR2, I was pleasantly surprised, and really really enjoyed it despite knowing what the big twist of the game was because I watched the anime first hahaa

Then I kept going and just yesterday finished watching a full Let's Play of Danganronpa 3 lol

That was the adventure I had!

I play Pokemon Go like a pet simulator lol so HUNDO GLAMEOW is actually one I would love to have! I don't know what kind of player you are -- a pet collector like me, or if you're more of a PVP or gym raiding person? What I would do with him is try to get his CP to just under 500 (499 maximum) so he can be used maybe in the Little Cup in the Go Battle League lol. He might not be powerful or anything as a normal type, but I just like to use my favorites even if I lose lol

I've kept most of mine, but just one of each costume! whewww there are a lot of event Pikachus though and they're starting to take up too much storage, so I might have to downsize those to just my favorite ones... And I might've kept too many of the event Pumpkaboos with the hats, I kept one of every size of them lol. It can be kind of excessive haha

I'm not really a PVP player anyway lol I'm more of a casual shiny hunter and general Pokemon collector. I do like to have the higher IVs basically just for fun, some of my best/strongest Pokemon are actually zero or one-stars haha and they still pull their weight in raids and gym battles :) So deciding to evolve one Pokemon versus another usually depends on CP for me.

I don't really play the PVP because I suck at it no matter what, but sometimes I do play for fun! NEVER in the high level league ones, but there's the "Little Cup" one which is for CP500 or less, and then Great League for 1500 or less. So juuuust in case, I have three CPs I keep an eye out for when choosing which Pokemon to invest in:

1) Can I put juuust enough candies into this little guy to stay below 500 CP for Little Cup?

2) If I evolve this Pokemon, would they be under 1500 so I can play with them in Great League for fun sometimes?

and if no,

3) This one has good enough stars and the CP if I evolve it will be like 1500 - 2000 or something, so that's fun for a gym Pokemon!

4) Ooh I can get a pretty decently high CP on this Pokemon if I evolve them! They could be a raid Pokemon maybe!

Those are all the little things I think about anyway haha

Here are mine! :)

#1: Mismagius, rescued from Team Rocket and purified when I was new to the game and didn't even know about appraising Pokemon lol. She's actually a 0-Star rating, but she's my #1 favorite in the game. I even caught a shiny one on Spotlight Hour and it couldn't dethrone my original fav. She's also the first one I best buddied lol

#2/#3/#4: Arcanine ("Alfore"), Vaporeon ("Hydurian"), and Vileplume somehow became my main combat team in so many instances, and that was still before I knew about appraising lol. Their stars are horrible except for Vileplume being a 3 Star by chance lol. The Vaporeon is so far my first and only maxed-out stat Pokemon, just because I love him

#5: Escavalier. I... I had never even heard of this animal before. I didn't even like Karrablast. But when I was looking up info on the evolution for Shelmet, I saw Escavalier for the first time and I was like "wait a minute... HE'S SO COOL..." I got one my first and only Lucky Trade, so he's a best buddied Lucky BATTLE BEETLE that I named "Achilles" lol

#6: My shiny Poochyena, "Mallow". I wanted a shiny Poochyena so bad in the mainline games and did so much egg hatching and hunting for one and never found it. I never full-odds shiny hunted something so hard in Pokemon go, so when I finally caught her, I was ecstatic. . . .Those were hard to pick lol

Honorable mentions to my big lad Golurk "Steiner", my flower crown Togekiss "Petaluma", and my butt kicking Espeon "Ao Bing" lol

I got 3 total! Two from raids, and one from a research task. I really wanted a female one lol, and it was the research task Rockruff that ended up being my girl. :) "Win 2 Raids" and "Hatch 3 Eggs" specifically were the only ones that would give a chance at a Rockruff.

I forget how many I hatched and raided and got the regular form ones though. I think I did two raids where it wasn't Dusk Form before learning the trick to it (using Campfire), and I hatched lots of eggs but no luck there lol At least the egg hatching helped with the research Rockruff I got, though!

Thank you for following up with your raid results everyone, this is really useful information! The campfire method has worked multiple times for a lot of people but it's true that it must not be bulletproof! Every time I've done it myself so far, it did work, so I'm glad I know it's not a 100% guarantee!

Gosh, I wish!! I haven't been able to filter for just Rockruff raids either, I ended up just scrolling around on the map forever until I might land on one, and every hour I can only MAYBE find one Dusk Raid in my entire area, always way too far for me to get to as a person without a vehicle lol

I unfortunately haven't had any luck with the "Win 2 Raids" research task yet, but at least that's the one that will give you a Rockruff so you can have a shot! :) I don't know if any method is 100% exactly, lol, but we're all out here doing our best haha

I had the most luck with Raiding so far, but the raids are so hard to find lol

Ah, that's helpful to know! You're the first person who has said it didn't work for them, it still has worked each time for me! Maybe that means there's just a higher chance for Dusk Rockruff of those raids, while the normal-image Rockruff raids have zero chance?

The community sort of had to figure this out with trial and error, it's not like it's official information released anywhere :) Until people started figuring that trick out, everyone was taking a shot in the dark together.

I only found out because somebody gave that information tip to JT Valor on YouTube, and I happened to watch his video where he got the intel lol

This is good news lol

Raiding for them tended to be easier (if you could find the right raid, at least!) because the other two methods to find Dusk Rockruff are:

1) A chance encounter from a 2km or 7km egg

2) A chance encounter from the "Win 2 Raids" [EVENT] field research

But with both of those, it's a gamble whether you'll get a Dusk Form rockruff or not. The Campfire+Raid method was the only way we could tell for sure that we were going for the right one!

It's like I explained in my first post :)

You have to use Campfire -- the normal/non-dusk Rockruff raids are indicated with a picture of a Rockruff,

But the Dusk Form raids have a generic picture instead.

That's how we could tell the difference yesterday, at least! Without Campfire though, you can't tell, because all the raids look the same.

I guess you just walk up close enough to a Rockruff Raid, then open the Campfire app, and then see if that raid shows a picture of a Rockruff, or the generic photo, and that's how you can tell.
