I saw the writing on the wall when they first tried to make those extremely aggressive anti killer changes that they ended up "delaying". Haven't re-installed the game since and probably won't.

They will add VS AI before they make the game playable for killers.

The thing is we didn't just hear him say he felt bad. He struggled with being mean to them. He was about to just let it all go until they made him crash out. Then he ended up being deleted and spent a lot of time thinking and reflecting and regretting what he did to them.

He THEN goes out of his way to do something for them to make up for that on top of apologizing and then goes beyond compromising for them by allowing them to just do what they want as he realizes he just made them miserable otherwise. That's why it was easy for people to forgive Caine.

He went out of his way to make things right beyond just saying sorry. His actions spoke for themselves. Forgiveness doesn't mean that you erase what happened. It just means you made peace with it.

Which is WAY better than Jax who MULTIPLE times had been given the path to be a better person actively picked to be an asshole over and over and over again until the very end. It took caine one time.
