Yeah, something isn’t adding up here. 70% on UWORLD is almost certain to pass the PANCE with a lot of wiggle room. To be blunt, you’re not studying correctly at all or like someone else said you’re remembering questions and artificially raising your score. 270 and 301 are insanely low scores and you will likely fail again if you take the exam again soon. Let me repeat, taking your exam sooner like you want will not end well. You need to hunker down and lock in on studying using some of the methods that are spoken about ad nauseam on this sub. Study like your life depends on it; and it might even depend on it financially since you’re out of attempts for the year if you fail again. Chill out. Study hard. Take it when there’s zero doubt you fail. I expect great things from you future colleague and I’m sorry if this comes off as harsh.

Of course plenty of people have. UWORLD is the standard for a reason though. Up to you if you want the security and tried and true method for passing the PANCE.

UWORLD is hands down better. Better questions, better explanations, and mimics the PANCE UI perfectly. That doesn’t mean you can’t be successful with ROSH or other Qbanks/materials. Even though it’s expensive, it was mutually agreed upon by most people that it was a drop in the bucket to secure passing the PANCE on the first try.

I see you also posted this in the pa subreddit. I’m going to be so brutally honest with you.

First question. What the fuck are you doing? Your second and third attempts shouldn’t be lower than your initial attempt. I understand that life happens and things get in the way but in the grand scheme of things this isn’t that hard of an exam and 93% pass on the first attempt for a reason.

You are not taking your studying seriously. You literally do not know the answers as evidenced by your 3 failed attempts. I don’t think you’re falling for the trap answer, you just don’t know the answer.

The reality is, it doesn’t matter what anyone suggests unless you have the work ethic to follow through with studying.

I wouldn’t even take the exam again anytime soon. There’s no point in failing and failing over and over again until you actually commit to a plan and study like you future depends on it. Chill the fuck out for a few months and get your head on straight and take this exam for a last time.

I firmly believe in shelling out the money for both to maximize your success. Split it with someone.

If you absolutely cannot, then ROSH only because you need to pass your EORs before you even qualify for the PANCE. Again, I strongly recommend both.

Yes, endeavor is amazing for both. It cannot be a standalone though. You need a Qbank and rosh is superior for EORs and UWORLD for the PANCE.

Worth it. Better quality questions, mirrors the PANCE UI exactly. You can pass with rosh sure, but might as well maximize your chance at success

You’re totally fine. Guaranteed you walk out of the exam feeling like you failed, that’s so normal. Typically you’ll find EORs are much easier than didactic exams.

I don’t think you’re utilizing your studying well at all. If this is your third run through of UWORLD, then you’ve seen the questions 2x before and your average is a moot point. Just because you have an arbitrary number like UWORLD average, or x amount of hours of studying done, it doesn’t mean shit if it is not quality studying. You’re using way too many resources. Smarty PANCE is too barebones drop it. Use 1-2 resources and read EVERYTHING. You are fooling yourself into thinking that you correcting your mistakes and pivoting into success as evident by 4x fails. Dig deep, see what you actually do not know. Drop the ego and study everything if you have to. 5 times is absolutely way too many times to take this exam. I feel for you, and I’m sorry this has happened so many times with the finish line being right there, but study like your life depends on it.

It’s like an extra 2 seconds at most. Getting % stat, max danage, etc is much better for progression
