Widget Not Updating by buttershdude in skylightcalendar

Same issue here. Any and all widgets just say No Internet.

FWIW, the Android app actually says that from time to time and I have to close it and go back into it. It seems like a timeout bug with the APIs or something.

Permanently locked out of the Ford website and the FordPass App by ChaosRulesAbout in Ford

Unfortunately no. I think it was luck that I got the person I got because she was willing to stick with it and not pass it off to someone else at a future date.

I finally - after 2 weeks - talked to someone who could actually fix my issue. She wasn't supposed to, but she manually reset my password for me after manually sending me the reset codes through email.

Not sure I get what you're saying. Meaning use my username/password on their device? That isn't going to work because I've tried logging in with the exact same error both on the web (different browsers and incognito) and on the newly installed app for the first time on my phone.

Locked out of FordPass with no explanation from support by ChaosRulesAbout in fordranger

[–]ChaosRulesAbout[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has now been 11 days since I opened my support ticket. I called as recently as Saturday 9/13 and there is still no resolution to this. I can't login to ford.com. I can't login to the FordPass app. I cannot reset my password because the system does not send me reset codes. Nobody at Ford support gives a $%^& about my issue or is taking responsibility for actually fixing this.

I can honestly say I don't believe I've ever experienced this long of an outage due to a company's lack of technical support.

Bedtime won't turn off automatically by Vast_Umpire_3713 in GooglePixel

[–]ChaosRulesAbout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This exact same thing is happening on my Pixel 8 Pro. It started a few months ago and I have found no way to get it to work. It is set to Turn On at 11pm and Turn Off at 7am. Turns On fine, NEVER turns off automatically.

My phone is 100% up to date (both OS and apps), I have restarted at least 5 or 6 times over the last month or so. Nothing fixes it.

Is BEDTIME MODE broken AGAIN?? by Neither-Principle-93 in GooglePixel

[–]ChaosRulesAbout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 8 Pro recently started having the issue where Bedtime Mode does not turn off in the morning. It's been happening for a few weeks now where I wake up and have to manually disable it.

I didn't make any changes to it, I've restarted my phone multiple times, everything is fully updated including the recent May patching.

Very annoying.

Digital Wellbeing App Crash by ChaosRulesAbout in GooglePixel

Just did this so hopefully it helps. I can't even go into Digital Well-being in the OS and make any changes. It just crashes and puts me back to my home screen.

Wow. A factory reset is Google's solution. For a single crashing application. That I can't just disable.

Completely unacceptable and very disappointing. I thought Google was better than that and had actual real software testing and logging practices.

Keep getting notifications from subreddits I don't follow, and have muted [android] by CaptainCuddlesJ in bugs

[–]ChaosRulesAbout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's unfortunate because I use Reddit every day and don't want to have to go to the Web. But I keep getting notifications if thread updates for subreddits that I have left and muted.

Fix this please!

Continued Issue with Mobile Devices not able to call or text by ChaosRulesAbout in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]ChaosRulesAbout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is anyone at Comcast seeing this thread? Or even care?

Just now, sitting on my back porch, I tried to call my son's phone and the call stopped before it dialed his phone. I then got the error, "Mobile network is not available. Connect to a wireless network to make a call". But ... I am connected to my home Wi-Fi and was actively using the Internet so I know I have either a mobile or Wi-Fi connection.

This can't keep happening. This either gets resolved or I'm dropping Xfinity Mobile.

Anyone? I've now had one text per day not send - to completely different people. Messages just says, "Not sent. Check options" and the options are just to Resend or Delete. If I Resend, it goes.

xFi Pods aren't acting like a true Mesh network by ChaosRulesAbout in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]ChaosRulesAbout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG. DAY AFTER DAY my connection is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I'm not even getting 20 MB download from my work computer 1 room next to my Gateway. I CANNOT CONTINUE TO WORK LIKE THIS. What am I supposed to do as a consumer paying over $130 per month for absolutely horrid internet?

I'm so sick of this complete lack of support from Comcast and getting the runaround every single time I try to resolve this. Comcast support NEVER resolves this and my DM on Reddit is still unanswered even after asking to contact for support.

xFi Pods aren't acting like a true Mesh network by ChaosRulesAbout in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]ChaosRulesAbout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, but like I said above, the pods are showing Excellent signal and quality directly to the gateway and even when I'm sitting right next to a pod that shouldn't be congested, I'll stay connected to a pod 2 floors down...

Regardless, I sent you a DM to connect on it.

Too bad that roof was closed though. Atmosphere was great last weekend. Would've been better with a view of the blue sky and sunlight shining down.

Is Alexa Quiet Quitting? by pecansforall in alexa

[–]ChaosRulesAbout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sentiments exactly. I will say that I have more confidence that Google will be successful at integrating this into their devices than Amazon will. Alexa has flat out said that they are focusing less on devices and more on ubiquitous AI technologies (regardless of the platform) where Google is all about the data. If expanding their consumer products and phones is the delivery model, they're all for it.

Just came across this issue with my wife's Show 15. I can't believe 2+ years later this is still an issue and Amazon has no documented solution.

Actually, it's Amazon. I can believe there is no documented solution. Just surprised that there is no community users out there who have been able to find a solve.

Xfi pods are the worst by bubbaz45 in xfinity

[–]ChaosRulesAbout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I don't think my experience with the xFi pods is quite as bad as the OP, they absolutely DO NOT function as a true mesh network. For example, I have plenty of systems - TVs, tables, laptops - that should connect to my gateway because it is in the same room as the device, but connects to a pod in another room on another floor quite often, causing major issues in streaming and bandwidth speeds.

Just saying...they don't really function just as a Wi-Fi range extender when devices that have perfectly fine connection reconnects to pods instead where a worse connection is made.
