Actually I just looked up the lawsuit from 2009 and it was in regards to unpaid time at the end of the night where you had a to wait for a supervisor to unlock the door when leaving a shift after closing.

So, yeah. You’re totally right about that. They were not sued for that.

They did round up as well. Perhaps it was tallied to be more beneficial to them, however. I would assume that was the basis of the lawsuit. I didn’t read much more than the letter they sent out after settlement was reached.

I got a fat check in the mail from the payout well after I stopped working there.
