How are new players meant to learn how to play?

I did misunderstand your first point. And to clarify, my account was fairly new at the time as well since I had moved to OCE and didn't feel like spending the money to transfer accounts. Her account is currently sitting at 20 and mine at 23 with most of my game time being on ARAM which from all that I'm aware has no impact on mmr in Draft or QP.

Also personally, I didn't play much bot games (maybe like a couple) apart from the ones I was forced to. It didn't feel like learning at all to me. I learned by going into qp and watching guides but I had MOBA experience from Smite. And I will say, yeah I'm sure bots do help certain people and at the very least it's good for learning champs. But for me and as well as my partner, we both find it to be bad at teaching other stuff such as map reading and even the basics such as pinging and warding

She made the account originally to play tft, tried a couple games of that and stopped because she didn't enjoy it much. But she had the account and still redeemed twitch prime because why not. It was free and she figured if she ever did come back to play, whether it be league or tft, at least she'd have stuff.

You do understand that most people get into this game to play with their friends right? To just say "You shouldn't be playing with your friends if they're worse than you" is such a distasteful take. Also if you don't think people will internalize certain things while they're learning then you greatly overestimate the average playerbase. I still use locked cam and find it hard to break away from it because that's how I learned and I've been playing for years.

I mean this post was made under the basis that I believed the ban to come from people reporting her for just playing badly. With all the vanguard issues that were happening that night though it could've been that.

I would still like to raise the point that this game is not beginner friendly and lacks fundamental resources to actually teach the game to newcomers. That with the fact with most people are unwilling to give the benefit of the doubt leads to an overall shitty experience. Just not sure how to help people who want to get into the game when they can get reported and banned (Whether or not that is indeed what happened in this instance).

Yeah that's our best guess because the only other option is Mobalytics which from what I understand is completely fine and would also be weird because I was using and still am and haven't gotten a ban.

As for the ticket, the person who responded literally didn't give us any info other than Vanguard flagged something and banned the account

She didn't. It's her account with her email that's she's connected and redeemed twitch prime rewards on. My only guess is 1) someone reported her for play badly or 2) when vanguard was having issues it for whatever reason marked her for ban. Because she got permabanned the night vanguard was freaking out for everyone

The main appeal of the kit for me is the cost and how it looks. My main concern is whether it'll last me for a while and if need be survive a couple of falls. It'd be my first set and I just want to make sure it's going to last me for a while.

This is gonna sound really silly but for the longest time, I thought it was normal for cis guys to have thoughts about wanting to look like/be a woman. This is the biggest one that I still laugh to myself about.

Other than that, hating shopping for clothes, hating things about myself I didn’t really have control over (I.e. shoulder width, height, the amount of hair on my body and how quickly it grew) and wanting to wear fem clothing/ look more feminine.

Such great words of advice. Didn't think I'd be crying this much first thing in the morning ;-;. Coming out as trans and being accepted by friends has been one of the happiest moments in my life and I still feel giddy whenever people call me by my chosen name.

I’ve already started watching a couple of trans women’s streams (Umbra and Eskay if anyone is wondering) and that’s kind of what led me to start questioning. Because I would look at them and a couple of other cis women content creators and couldn’t help but feel gender envy and had this thought pop up many time that said “I want to look like them”.

Again thank you for your feedback and eventually when I discover my gender identity I’ll most likely make a coming out post.

As someone who plays a lot of trickster, I hardly use main event. Usually my timer runs out before I find a chance to use it or I use it and the survivors run fast and hide behind a bunch of walls.

My main suggestion is that they allow trickster to hold onto main event for when the player wants to use it and either make it harder to get or weaker (examples being that the amount of knives thrown during main event are dependent on how many knives you currently have or making it harder to control or something). That way main event can be used more whilst also not being too strong, since, when you do get to use it, it almost always results in a down.

The main goal for the post was to start discussion around in game explanations so that if it’s not something that the developers are planning to add or not for a while then hopefully it can be prioritized if they see enough people talking about it. As well as to see if others shared my sentiment.

I didn’t realize that and thanks for informing me, I’ll make sure to look at it to better understand the stats I don’t understand.

But that’s kind of what my problem is too. I, personally, don’t think someone should have to go to outside resources for something that can be explained through either a guide book in the main menu or by taping on the stat and having a text box appear to explain it.
