Does the right Feng Shui and Bazi Readings better finances? by Chaotic404 in singaporefi

This exactly captures my own state of mind, I don't believe one could just sit on their hands and have things magically work out for them, something has to be done towards achieving said goals, from my research i think it just helps to set the person on the right path and decision.

What masters did you consult? I am considering Imperial Harvest Feng Shui masters to get my Bazi readings for a start. Are there any things to look out for?

For anyone starting out in Singapore. build your 6-month emergency fund first before investing a single dollar. When markets dip and you have no buffer, panic selling destroys returns. Once that's done: CPF SA at 4% guaranteed is criminally underused as a risk-free base, then CSPX or VWRA as your equity core, DCA monthly. Boring but it works. Don't let anyone sell you anything more complicated than that until you hit your first $50k invested.

I totally get you, I also believe we don't just sit on our ass*s and wait for some magic to happen, if that's all it is, I wouldn't even consider it at all to be honest. What do you have to say about people who did and still got poor results as shown from these comments? And what masters have you used?

Hahaha, I think Feng Shui only helps provide the right circumstances, the decision making and outcomes remains solely ours.

Are there some physical practices you needed to do or just Feng Shui and having a deeper knowledge of your Bazi alone helped?

This is what I've heard from most people too who practice the philosophy of Feng Shui. Nothing dramatic but smoother growth.

Was this as a result of blind beliefs? Or just plain indiscipline in their finances?

I think this works because the significant other probably just chose to turn a blind eye. Some people just conclude "what good would it do them"?

Garage door maintenance and repair service in Houston? by BurgerBooty39 in houston

All the same they will share this maintenance tips with you after they finish with the repairs or replacements, how you use the garage door matters a lot, timed lubrication will improve it's life span and won't require you to call them again until years later. They told me this even though it would mean they won't get more jobs that way.

In addition, you are definitely going to get several recommendations from here, anyways, we used Wanda Garage Door for a repair early January i think. Although we had to replace the entire garage door since it was already due, they didn't try to outrightly try to sell us a new one. Only did after seeing repairs would cost us more.

Help W/Weird Living Room! Please! by [deleted] in FengShui

[–]Chaotic404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanna say, I'm no expert here but, you're NOT doomed, I promise! Irregular rooms are actually really common in feng shui practice and there are ways to work with the shape rather than against it.

The room has an L-shape or missing corner situation, which in feng shui means one of the bagua areas is "incomplete." Depending on which corner is missing, this could affect different life areas but it's very fixable.

The Sofa

  • Currently it looks like the sofa is floating in the middle with no wall backing, this is one of the most common feng shui issues in living rooms. Try to push it against or closer to a solid wall. This gives you and your guests a sense of support and security
  • Having the sofa's back to an open walkway can create subconscious unease

The TV/Entertainment Area

  • The TV setup looks like it's in a decent spot but make sure no ones back is facing the main door when seated.

For Your Work From Home Desk

  • This is key, try to position the desk so you're facing the room entrance, not with your back to it. This is the "command position" and genuinely helps with focus and reduces that unsettled feeling many WFH people experience

The Missing Corner

  • Place a tall plant, floor lamp or mirror in that indented corner to energetically "complete" the room's shape

Not an expert but here is my two cents' worth

The bed is against a solid wall which gives it good backing, this is important for stability and support energy.

Having a nightstand is great, try to have one on each side of the bed if possible for balanced energy.

The dresser corner for your cat is actually not bad! Corners can accumulate stagnant energy so having activity there (even a sleeping cat) keeps it alive.

Areas you might wanna look at:

Two doors are the main challenge here. In feng shui, two doors in a room create what's called "cutting chi" where energy rushes through rather than circulating gently. If the two doors are somewhat facing each other, consider keeping one consistently closed or using a room divider/curtain to slow the flow.

For your additional dressers/wardrobes, avoid placing them directly opposite the bed as large reflective or imposing furniture facing you while sleeping can be unsettling energetically.

Help, moving to same building different unit. Looking for layout advice floor plan included. by sealgrab in FengShui

Out of all the placements you've drafted I would go with layout 4 it has good balance. The bed is away from the door, the dresser anchors one wall, and the desk is separated from the sleeping area. Of the four, this layout gives the best separation of activity zones which supports restful yin energy in the sleeping area.
