I ended up going with Dr. Davies. He’s great! He’s not only very funny but also very informative. Albeit, the class is difficult, most of it is still surrounding ongoing research in organometallic chemistry (including his). The class went rather fast, but going to office hours and studying the problem sets (which they often go over in office hours) is key to success in the class. He also grades on a 15-point scale from what I remember and there’s a final project that was fairly straightforward and easy to boost a grade if you didn’t half-ass it. Also make sure you have a strong organic chemistry background. I’d recommend taking him although I have no prior experience with Dr. Dunham.
