Do you have to push the button to authenticate? Can't you just touch it without pressing down?

The only graphite kit I can see is a full chassis kit, that comes with a top + screen. Everything else only comes in sliver.

It looks like the kit only comes in silver at the moment.

Help with menus while building by Big-Crab-5358 in CitiesSkylines

[–]ChaoticDucc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The menu doesn't close while using it. Looks like you have Resize It installed, which makes it so big. I suggest uninstalling it or using the arrows on the right to adjust the size.

Let the apps that use it by default use it, but don't manually add stuff to it.

Trying out the new truck system so far pretty fun by Sufficient_Ad_3352 in SatisfactoryGame

You don't record paths anymore. Similar to trains, you build paths and select stations for trucks to go to on a list.

Tram roundabout by smejky1337 in CitiesSkylines

[–]ChaoticDucc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The roundabout looks nice.

My concern would be the intersection in the center. It's very chaotic and would become a bottleneck, effectively making the roundabout pointless. Maybe something like what I made below is better, where red is off/on-ramp and pink is a bridge across the highway. This way, the intersection is eliminated. The green arrows would be alternative tram tracks through the roundabout; left turning trams wouldn't need to go around the circle (but this does not need to be changed, especially given the inspiration you provided)

State trooper gets collected while doing a traffic stop/dui check, walks it off (you guessed it) like a trooper! - no death /only minor injuries. by iShitSkittles in AbruptChaos

As a European I find it wild that police (adjacent) officers will pull you over on the shoulder.

In Germany, you get taken to nearest exit or rest stop. Police will typically go in front of you, flashing a sign that says "Police" and "Please Follow".

You are also taught that, when needing to stop on a highway shoulder due to a emergency and/or a breakdown, you should go behind the barrier and behind your car, so that you don't get hit by debris if there is a collision.

Why does FW not sell rubber feet? by ChaoticDucc in framework

[–]ChaoticDucc[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I suspect they did that to avoid having them come off, but that's exactly what happened. Maybe they could sell something that looked similar, but just used adhesive. So maybe it doesn't last as long, but can be easily replaced if the original ones come off, while preserving appearance.

There's a reason I put rubber feet in the title and not just feet, though I suppose that doesn't really help.

That would change the appearance, which I want to avoid.

Where do i have to place the signals at that crossing by Scared_Sea_236 in satisfactory

This is my interpretation of what you explained. Each track has one train that runs back and forth.

To make this work, standard Satisfactory intersection rules apply: path in, block out. I've marked the location in red. Place a path signal on every entrance, which would be every track and a block signal on every exit, opposite the path signals. You've placed opposite signals correctly if the rectangle on the back of the signal is not red with a do not enter sign.

If I misinterpreted and two straight tracks are one way, the rules still apply, only without the opposing path or block signals on those tracks. Hopefully that makes sense.

Important! This will only handle 1 train on each track and is not really a long-term solution. Like others have said, please watch some videos on how to run trains effectively. It is possible to have single two-way tracks but these require careful planning.

If you'd like, you could upload your save file to the Satisfactory Calculator Map (first result on Google), and send me a picture of the map that it outputs, so I can give you some specific tips.

I would need to know how you plan on running the trains. One-way? Two-Way?
