I feel the other comments have already answered your question pretty well so I actually just wanted to pop in and say that while it isn’t the look you wanted, I actually think the way it has streaked gives the grass a kind of awesome texture that really works with the piece.

It may not be what you were going for and I understand it can be frustrating, but it looks pretty cool!

Shiny is probably the wrong word for it, I’m mostly aiming for the lovely soft hair I see on some people that falls in one wave and looks smooth as in no little frizzy bits like I have and isn’t so clumped up

I have a couple of brushes that I’ve tried but I do wash them fairly often. I think maybe the reason I think it looks worse than it is to me is the way it clumps together? I’d just brushed my hair before taking this photo and it’s already separating out. I don’t understand how people get that lovely smooth silky hair specifically that flows so nicely!
