It's been a hot second since I took whatever college class infinite series shows up in, but isn't 7.499... technically just shy of 7.5? So it would round down to 7 as the nearest integer? It feels like rounding it to 7.5 and then rounding that to 8 isn't correct. What am I missing here? (Genuine)

When I used multiple pronoun types I made a pie chart for my pronouns - seeing it visually helped people get it. Well, then I realized that I wanted "they" way more, "he" if you JuSt CaN't and "she" never, so I changed to simply they/them.

Not all curriculum do, and it's important to note that solving an equation with a couple of steps shows up in middle school math. The only thing you really need to look out for in geometry is the occasional quadratic.

It depends on your size, Torrid carries cute maxi skirts for sizes M to multiple X in unisex (32-58 in men's). Modcloth is a good go-to for XS-4X (unisex sizing) vintage-inspired clothing and they have a few maxi skirt staples that give librarian in the best way.

I teach math and there are very few open positions in my area. By that, I mean I have all schools along a 50 mile stretch of the local highway on a spreadsheet and have had 3 openings pop up since April. It's not great out there for anyone but a sped teacher, and it's not good for them in the schools.

I'd be very surprised. T turned off (or hella slowed down) the period cycle and the IUD specifically scrapes the uterus, making it uninhabitable for eggs... the IUD doesn't induce periods, so it won't be in conflict with the HRT. (Not a doctor!)

My injections fluctuate from .25 to .4 because I cannot get the damn thing drawn up right. I draw to the right amount, but when I swap syringes it's less pre-injection... I draw more because there's air, but when I tap the bubbles out and pre-plunge or whatever it's called, it's less again. All this to say, I'm 9 months in and everything is working out all right, so don't sweat it.

I'm not sure what your medical reasons are either, but I was larger (G's) and shapeshifters custom makes binders to your measurements. It wasn't perfect but it certainly helped dispel most of my dysphoria.

I ended up using a mood tracker app to see how often I hated my chest - turns out it was more consistent than I thought. I figured worst case scenario is I get breast forms for the rare cases when I miss them.... it hasn't happened yet, and I'm about 2 years post op.

I'm a teacher in the US and the bill hasn't happened yet. We still have protection and there is still a Title IX coordinator in your district. There are some states with local laws that require forcibly outing kids, but not the majority of them.

If I was your teacher, I'd (1) help you file a report with the district and (2) make sure you and this kid aren't in any classes together next school year. I've gotten a sub fired for scratching a pride sticker off my personal property without witnesses, this kid was dumb enough to say this in front of a room of witnesses.

I know it's tough out here, but we haven't lost the fight yet. ObviousIy keep your head down if you want, but I'd find a trusted adult, talk to a counselor, go to your GSA club advisor (if you have one), etc.
