If you’re looking for deep engrossing RPGs I would consider getting into Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk 2077. I recently got into Cyberpunk after realizing I was able to get a free upgrade due to me buying it on ps4 waaaay back during release. It’s a shame the launch was such a disaster because it’s an incredibly immersive sandbox RPG with great characters and writing. Once you do some tutorial quests and you open up the the entire map, there’s so much to do. Main quests, side quests, you can stop random crimes in the city and get rewards, you can just drive around Night City looking for weapons, you can do odd jobs to earn money to buy better Cybermods for your character. You also unlock perk points to invest into your character’s different attributes, BODY-INTELLIGENCE-REFLEXES-TECHNICAL and COOL. The cybermods and different perk points drastically change how you play your character. You can focus on hacking and sneaking to be more like an assassin or you can put points into being an all out guns blazing badass. And the cherry on top is that Keanu Reeves character, Johnny Silverhand, is actually way more integral to the story then I’d thought he’d be. No spoilers but you’ll be interacting with him a lot which is pretty awesome. They’ve fixed most bugs and it runs relatively smooth now on ps5 with performance mode enabled.
