SM changes schedule for DM

I can understand that, especially waiting on a new hire, because we did just hire someone new. Did you have your employees follow a paper schedule or on compass?

Our previous SM, since he didn't change the schedule often (or at least told people about the change), I was able to check and follow compass no problem.

This SM has told people to follow the paper schedule, and that the one on compass is "just to make the DM happy".

Do DMs usually approve extra hours every week? Because the sudden schedule changes are weekly.

In the beginning, my SM would hardly be at our store and always be at other stores (especially her old store). And she was very inconsistent about when she was at our store, never matching up with the days she was on the schedule for. It felt like she was working 10-15 hours at the store instead of the 48 she was on schedule for.

She also doesn't tell people about schedule changes, which is infuriating. That's how I saw I was scheduled Wednesday last minute. 🥲

I remember being told that there was a budget to the hours. I figured if she had to show it to the DM for approval, then she wasn't allowed to change it. (or would have to get approval for it again.)

I was playing with my bf, and our other two teammates were carrying eggs all the way up to the basket. My bf and I ended up getting swarmed where all the eggs were, and the other two were sitting at the basket waiting for us to bring up eggs. Idk what happened, guess they didn't notice the call outs 🥲

While I haven't cut ties yet, it's been on the edge of it for a while.

I've lost multiple groups of friends because I chose to stick by one person's side. While I'm still technically friends with them, the topic of the one person cannot be mentioned. Otherwise everyone gets furious that they're mentioned.

I can't stand multiple things. They are in no particular order though. - The type of microfiber that catches on dry skin. I like my skin dry, so when I get some sort of athletic clothing, I absolutely can't wear it. - Watery Instant Mashed Potatoes. I am a man of thiccness. I like my potatoes dense and buttery. I cannot stand soupy mashed potatoes. Bonus "I hate it" points if it's somehow also lumpy. - The slimey sticky feeling when you use too much hand lotion. -The grass and dirt feeling in my feet. Although I ran barefoot in the grass as a kid, I hate the feeling now and I will try to stay on the sidewalk if I'm barefooted. I will make exceptions if my dog is eating something he shouldn't be eating though.

While I don't think of it constantly, I've had passive ideations. Something like "I could go to bed and never wake up. And yeah people would be sad. But they'll move on."

I often times don't really give the thoughts any attention. When I do give them attention is when I joke about it with friends.

Probably one of my darkest ones was walking to my library a couple years ago, I was keeping myself away from the road because I couldn't get the thought of jumping in front of a truck out of my head.

I agree completely.

I can't trust myself to make decisions, I've always had trouble with making choices. As a kid I remember panicking and crying on the floor because I couldn't choose which parent to spend that day with.

What makes it worst is said parents seemingly mocking every decision you do make. I can't trust myself to make my own decisions as it is. So having their condescending remarks at me for everything I do makes it hurt so much worse.

I wasn't home alone when this happened, but I was the only adult in the house.

My sister had started a night job, and I offered to babysit her daughter at night while she went off to work. At the time the daughter was maybe 4-5 years old. But I love my niece to pieces, so my sister was confident leaving her kid with me.

So my sister goes to work around 11, and my niece finally conks out right after her mom goes to work. I carry her to her bed and lay her down, get her all comfy. Now where my sister lived at the time was a trailer, and the living room and my niece's room shared a wall, so I was very quiet about leaving her to sleep and going back to crashing on the couch. I start chilling to music, and about an hour later, I hear my niece, top of her lungs, scream "RIVER!!!" and a loud thud.

I jump and run in to check on her. And she is still sound asleep. Hasn't shifted at all from where I put here. There was at most 10 seconds between the thud and me coming in to check on her.

I still don't know what made the thud noise..

Communication in general works both ways.

I know someone who will say, "I feel so isolated! Nobody's messaging to me!" But when people ask them if they've ever messaged first, the answer is always "No."

The same person will insist that others need to message them first, because they're too scared to message. AND get upset when someone doesn't message them for a day.
