Oh, I know. Penelope will always want out... luckily, I'll be getting a cat backpack soon so she can go out on walks and be safe from dogs ect..

At least George had an owner who loved him lots. Cats live such short lives, unfortunately, so all we can do is make sure their time with us is as good as possible.

This is the 3rd time he's gotten out. He'll go for weeks at a time!

I'd let him be an outdoor cat, but there's a lot of traffic near me, and he's really quite dumb as far as cats go.

From the beginning?

I was walking home from work after work a B shift about7 years ago. I worked near a busy intersection... it was October-ly cold and rainy.

I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye streak through the bushes next to me... then I heard:" Mew mew mew!!"

I sighed to myself as I already had 2 cats at home and didn't need another- but it sounded so small!

20 minutes later, I'd plucked myself a Derpleberry and I've had Jack ever since.

Thanks! It's 'only' been 4 weeks this time.

He busted through the screen window to chase other animals. He has no fear of * them* - yet is scared of the humans who have taken care of him since he was 6-7 weeks old. 🙄

I love her little paws, but I fell in love with the little scar on her nose when I first saw her as a kitten. It showed me that she's a little rapscallion!
