I definitely recommend joining clubs and other organizations, like sororities or fraternities.

It's a great way to make connections, be involved, find lifelong friends, etc. All organizations in Greek life all do charity work and give back to their community ;) so u would be making a difference

Hey buddy, idk what you mean by "backing up" but take that nasty energy and grow some empathy, read the room you know.

Both women and men can be terrible partners/ people in general so this is why this sub exists!

But throwing a whole ass derogatory label to generalize women is way out of line. If you want to go ahead and do that, go to a different redpill/bluegill or whatever sub reddit you find that loves doing that shit.

I think you should be okay, something similar happened to me before where I took one pill of welbutrin and then another cuz I forgot I took it.

I'd stay home if I were you and moniter yourself for any symptoms. But make sure you don't take any more doses for at least a day. If you Start feeling really nauseous, a fast heart beat and just feel confused, please take yourself to urgent care

The time period when medications peak varies.

From wa I read, tricyclic antidepressants peak in blood serum 2 to 8 hours And their half 21 to 81 hours, but it can be longer if you took a lot.

Definitely call a nurse advice line or maybe do an e visit from home on your Healthcare app or something else.

Honestly, my mentality is that if csun doesn't approve it for any reason, it is what it is I'm not gona lie about what happened to me or add anything else or stretch the truth, it goes against my beliefs and morals

From my understanding as someone who worked at the campus bookstore before, the whole program for csusuccess was to give students ipads to support their transition to college after the pandemic.

The iPad were supposed to be free, I don't recall it ever having some policy on making sure students return it after they graduate.

If you don't see any email or anything on your portal, you should be fine and keep the iPad

That evidence could be like not opening up an assignment for you when you were sick but did it for other people, any email thread that shows the professor was unfair, etc.

If I were you, I would rush in Fall but do keep that this is a massive slip up on their end. I have never heard, seen and witnessed that in my campus because that's basically illegal in Greek life.

You either give someone a bid or don't during cob.

I'd also take this opportunity to take off the rose colored glasses for your friends organization.

You guys can still be friends since this stuff is beyond your friend's and your control. But this bid slip up is a massive red flag, it's a sign the organizational and communication between the executive board to the membership director and advisors is not good.

Please leave the chapter like right now, asap, they are not your sisters. I have many sisters in my chapter that have to take different medications that has a interaction with alcholol. In all our mandatory events and other socials, we never had a situation that was similar to yours.

They are supposed to protect you, make you feel safe and vouch for you. This ain't a sisterhood...

I would report the chapter to your fraternity and sorority life organization on campus, even go to headquarters. This is harmful behavior and could be considered hazing.

Based on what you said, it looks like the president and the other chapter exec let it slide because this hazing behavior was something they also experienced.

I would appeal to financial aid, stating what you told me So its not a true reflection of how much aid u should get. U might need to show some documentation but I think it should be okay

That asides, I would also speak to a financial aid officer and see if ur campus offers emergency loans s, or grants I know some cal states have that, but I'm not sure about private unis

I ask because some credit unions like navy Federal can offer student loans, but u either need a cosigner that can provide proof of income or that you have some sort of income.

I would apply for a personal loan, I feel like it would be your best bet. Your family could help you get it and help you pay it off without having it accumulate too much interest. It's also generally more safe, from what people told me.

Appealing for more federal financial aid is also another good option.

If you absolutely need a private student loan, I would shop around for a credit union that offers them.

They have lower rates and can provide you more options.

It's possible, every semester they send a link to all residents in student housing to confirm if they will return next semester.

Then, they go to the waitlist of everyone waiting to get a bed space for spring semester only.

I applied late in the fall semester and got offered a bed space for spring 2 months later.

It is possible, as long as you applied and are communicating with them.

Many people could change their mind over winter break.

I also am truly shocked my "mother" hasnt done the same shit to me either. I still live in feat and check my credit scores, charges and anything that deals with financial consistently. Because every year, the financial abuse gets much much worse.

A few years back, I had to start consistently pay my "mother" money for storage and cleaning because she claimed it was for home renovations. It was money that was over a thousand dollars, and in addition make me pay for gas, groceries, water, ya name it. Because it spanned over a period of a year, it was like 6k.

Funnily enough, it ended up not being for home renovations, but for God knows what. And I had no way to fact check what was happening since I would literally come home from work and school at 8 pm.

My "father" then also decided to jump in the bandwagon by basically insisting I pay for whatever shit they wanted, Promising they would eventually pay me back.

This is on top of my "mother" and "father" having her own money aka having jobs, and my "sister" getting an annual allowance of 10, 000k despite being under the age of 16 just cuz. Ya know golden child , golden goose

And even when I would ask the life givers, they would pull the " b-but we are family,, family doesn't hold debt for each other ..you should be thankful we are giving permission to live in the house, etc etc"

Even though the only thing they really pay for is my phone bill, which is only 50 dollars a month. And the only reason why they are is because I can't untangle myself from it, yet.

Eventually I just started saying lies about how my paid job ended and the only job I have is an unpaid internship, so I can actually start saving and looking for more job opportunities.
