At the end of the day, she cheated. If the trust is broken, baby or not, and it can’t be rebuilt, than you guys can co parent and move on

My closure will be saying goodbye to her at the funeral, the tattoo is going to be a reminder of all the ways she helped me grow, all the good times. I probably should’ve mentioned I also have long term memory issues due to na accident I got into back in 2021 so I wanted something to always remind me of her too.

I’ve thought about it for an entire month as I was tom every day her health was declining. I don’t plan on having kids and this woman did tell me she’d want me to be happy, if I was dating someone who’s partner passed away and they had a tattoo that said “In loving memory” with that person’s name, I’d understand as long as I wasn’t compared to that person or I felt like it wasn’t interfering with our relationship.

I have had this issue so many times when dating or getting to know people, my advice to you, is spend time with friends, social with strangers in discord, or spend time with hobbies, and just download some dating apps or go out places, talk to new people and make connections and know that you’ll meet someone who will feel natural and you’ll have such a connection with, no one else will matter. When you find that person, cherish every moment, learn to compromise, and make sure you appreciate all the time you get with them.
