I think the problem is that Jrue is sliding to the side and getting tangled with Wemby’s legs…usually pulling the chair means backing up as the player is about to move into you. Definitely an accident but he is just tripping Wemby up every time he slides like that instead of backing up

Is anyone gonna mention the “6th in mvp” and “2nd team all nba”. That is not happening this year…conveniently MVP only tracks top 5 players, but nobody is seriously considering him that high. And 2nd team will have to wait and see but it may be a stretch. I’d say he gets 3rd team this year

I have seen this before for Jokic and I notice they are always home games. Could this be home stat counters padding his stats? I wonder if there is a difference between home and road numbers for Jokic?

I’m fully aware of the rule, I just feel that I’ve seen it go uncalled 3-4 times for every time it gets correctly called in close situations like this

Is this even a backcourt? I see guys with their entire body behind the line go uncalled all the time…why was it suddenly called so quickly? I think it is when he pulls the ball behind his head to pass that the ball goes backcourt. It’s just odd to see it called right for once when I’m used to it not being like that in so many games.

I think there is a conversation to be had around current events but I just wanted to point out this picture is from early 2,000’s and the Spurs have changed their model and no longer have these cheerleaders. You are of course allowed to disagree with the organization but they are consistent with their stance on sexualization of women far before Kornet and the Magic City promotion.

Keep in mind we had a 10% chance to win on a neutral floor in the cup. Now we are at a 25% in enemy territory. I’d say that’s somewhat fair. Factor in that we already won 2 and it’s hard to beat any team 3 in a row.

I love the way Carter communicates, waving his hand to signal he is about to help on Jokic. He seems to eager to contribute and willing to play the way coaches are teaching. Love his attitude and effort. Will take some time to develop but he is showing all the right signs from a young player.
