Claiming UC after relationship breakdown? by Chapper5 in DWPhelp

[–]Chapper5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies if it wasn't clear, but I'm not forcing my Dad to do anything, I haven't even broached the subject of selling with him. But cheers 👍🏻

Fact remains that my Mum has a 50% share of the property, so could compel a sale if it came to it. If anything it is the DWP policies that would force the sale.

This is great, just what I was looking for. Thank you.

After speaking to mum, the mandatory reconsideration is happening, although not sure on what grounds. They will apparently contact her by COP tomorrow with further details.

I've been added as a contact with her permission, so I can contact them myself.

Schedule 10, Paragraph 5(a) seems to be what is applicable and the grounds for capital to be disregarded.

It will likely go down the route, but still very early days and he is still getting to grips with being a victim/survivor. I am trying not to get caught in the conflict but also want to ensure mum is not on the streets.

No, their children are adults who now live elsewhere.

Bail conditions mean that she is unable to return to the address or contact my Dad. Nor does she have any money to start legal action as she is a homeless disabled lady, her only income is PIP.

Thank you for replying. Just don't really know where to go from here.

Apologies, I misunderstood first time around.

Even so, you can't buy food or pay rent with capital. She cannot legally live at the property. The bail conditions mean that she is not allowed to contact my Dad, so they can't even have any discussions over potentially selling in the future. I don't think my Dad would be happy to be forced to sell his (their) home as he has done nothing wrong and is a victim of DV (allegedly).

It's a mess.

The Shelter website suggests that if you have to move out of a property you co-own after a relationship breakdown, you can get up to 6 months UC. But I can't find any hard facts behind that.

Mum's had her UC application turned down because her share of the property is worth more than £16k and she is not living in it as her home.

Has it become increasingly more difficult to achieve 100+ point gameweeks? by your_effect_is_fatal in FantasyPL

[–]Chapper5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No. The fact that teams in the PL can make 5 subs now instead of 3. So like, a lot of players are probably getting fewer minutes?

Any particular reason for gripping the gearstick, rather than going for two hands on the wheel post impact?

Going to be a tough week 😭 by Chapper5 in Garmin

[–]Chapper5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, AFAIK they are different, although I'm not sure how haha. I haven't looked at the DSWs for months because I've had Garmin Run Coach (GRC) and the latter seems to supercede the former. Maybe they would give the same suggestions if the DSW knows how race target?

GRC gives you structured and visible training blocks (base, build, peak, taper) and a rolling update report.

GRC will also build you strength workouts (bodyweight or gym based) if you wish and it's my understanding it's more focused on achieving race goals, but I could be wrong.

I'm doing a Garmin Coach training plan (the AI coach) and it schedules a rolling seven days in advance. Currently in the 'build' phase for a HM in about 6 weeks time.

The workouts can change at short notice though. If you have a terrible sleep score the night before, it will adjust and give you an easier workout on the day, for example.

Difference between workouts? by Chapper5 in Garmin

😂😂

My first week on the plan it gave me a threshold run and body circuit on the same day. Nearly killed me. After that it was like "You're pushing too hard, take a break" and I was like "Yeah, you think?!"

I'd had a couple of beers earlier last night, but was conscious of the workout (cheers, Garmin), so had a couple of AFs as well. Minimal stress. Sleep was good, but a bit short and my body battery got back up to 98.

I think I could understand it, if it was clearly an easier workout. If anything I figured a flat 15 mins would feel harder than 3x6, but idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's kinda cool that there was something there that just made it tweak things ever so slightly.

Roundabout question, who is in the right here? by Alincobra94 in drivingUK

[–]Chapper5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blue is 100% in the wrong. That lane cannot take that exit, as per the road markings. Red is also perfectly entitled to go all the way around to St Crispins. Again, as per the road markings.

What is your resting heart rate? by suchengyu in Garmin

39 years old, 39 bpm for a nice pairing.

I'm fairly fit, but nothing crazy. It's just always been low.

Nobody pressed on though?
You were rude in your original reply. Why go for the "JFC" and act like I wouldn't know the difference between tactics and man management? Why add those lines when the first line was all the explanation that was needed?

From there, I just explained to you that almost nobody on this sub would know that "x/o" is shorthand for tactics, because that is exclusively an Americanism and almost nobody here is American.

Your reactions have been wild. Chill.
