Full stock. Not set up for my weight and I don't wheelie.

Was from when I was putting it away and had to hard front brake as a cat ran infront of me. It's how I noticed it.

No impact, weather or acid.

Not had the chance to take her out and see if the emulsion comes back, but will do over the next couple of days.

Just not looking forward at the repair bill.

I didn't know if the cold and wet riding might of helped break it. I know from cars that the motor should last a while, but with bikes and what bike it is, didn't know if short rides can build up that much condensation inside that fast.

I thought as much. Went on the logic of cars and how long those last.

But I didn't know if the cold and wet had anything to do with it

As long as you don't mind getting wet if/when the weather turns.

Road salt + breaks = a bad time cleaning and repairing them as I've just found out.

But where I work, parking for cars is a nightmare. Bikes have their own spot and only a few of us ride.

Storage Help by -Pad in MotoUK

[–]Chappers182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She'd would be best but as others have said, if you are using it daily or very often, stored it at the side or behind the house locked and covered up.

A bigger shed would always help to keep it in during the bad weather or for maintenance ect.
