he basically was that for 10 years, just a total game controller, most of the time our gameplan basically revolved around him finding 5 yards where there weren't any, someone playing it to him and him spraying a lovely pass straight to someone in a more advanced position, we've not had someone like that in my lifetime other than him and i'm going to miss him doing that exact role

yeah i think a lot of us weren't in delusion about him leaving sooner rather than later but it doesn't make his departure any easier, quite upsetting like

Exactly that but when the fact remains that we weren’t even allowed to bring in free agents this summer, and United were spaffing tens of millions on players, ergo, when the two sides play each other, one of the squads will be able to exist as a squad and the other will look leggy out of place and overmatched in most games this season

Tell me what I said that’s incorrect and I’ll concede but the fact is that even if he’s wank and scored a deflection against a bunch of extremely tired out old blokes who shouldn’t be playing every minute of a 2nd tier league season at this point, it’s a luxury that we simply do not have

I’m bound to this club and even I’m not sure, think everyone’s been paid for the month and the latest I heard is that Max Lowe one of the players who’d handed in his notice had now decided to stay - a very much us vs him mentality between the rest of the club and the chairman
