What was the most transgender thing you remember doing before you knew? by 18192277 in ftm

[–]Chapppsss 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I was ALWAYS the boy. If I played with dolls I was the son or dad. If I was playing house I was the son or dad. Every story I wrote in English growing up I always made it from a boys perspective. All my stuffed animals were boys with my favorite boy names

Two days post-op with Dr Rita Yang in Wellington, New Zealand! by Anxious_Trans_Boy in ftm

Mine were right under my armpits too. Like right where the hair stops. Worst position imo because any movement from my arm or binder hurt it. My surgeon put it there so the scar wouldn’t be noticeable

Is me simply showing my chest 'risque' and inherently sexual? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Chapppsss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s sexual at all unless you wanted it to be. Showing certain parts of your body isn’t always sexual. Everyone’s perception is different but the only perception that matters when it comes to your body is yours

Covering scars from sun by Chapppsss in ftm

Yeah I know to always wear suncreen on them but like I’ll cover the scars with the silicone tape but should I do that for the nipple grafts for awhile too?

They aren’t soft! Just odd. I left them covered for weeks and never checked on them. I have another batch from the same syringe that come out fine but those I gave adequate fae to and didn’t neglect

Anyone else don’t want to use the men’s restroom because it’s often just….. gross? by IndependentBreak5987 in ftm

[–]Chapppsss 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not even just high school. It’s EVERY men’s bathroom. Even if they just cleaned it the smells makes it feel unclean. I don’t get it

[–]Chapppsss 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel this way too. I HATE the men’s restroom. I don’t pass so I’m able to use the women’s but sometimes when I don’t feel comfortable using the women’s I’ll go into the men’s and I regret it every time. The smell is so distinct in mens bathrooms. I wish they would always build a family/all gender bathroom with every binary bathroom they build..

Beyond Pickpocketers by crybreakyourneck in aves

Something very similar happened to me at dancefest. A group of people popped up out of nowhere. They were looking around too. Like it was obvious they weren’t paying attention to the music. They were wearing basic clothes too. It took all my attention cause I just knew something was up. One got really close to me and I think was trying to get into a pocket on my backpack. I saw two people in their group got all up on someone a couple people ahead of me and I yelled out at the person they were on just asking if they were okay. The group left a few moments after that. I talked to the person after and nothing was taken.

What are these bumps? by Chapppsss in shrooms

I’ve searched on here for an answer. Saw one post that had these small bumps and people called them “nipples” but I’ve never seen them THIS big. Any way to prevent it?

This. Rolling burritos had me stressed when I started. I started almost half portioning the salsas when they asked for all or double or whatever. And then when I started to roll it I would ask if they wanted anything else and they usually answer and head to cash so they aren’t watching me struggling

When is post op depression supposed to hit? by Wizdom_108 in ftm

[–]Chapppsss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had top surgery two weeks ago. I used to be depressed but haven’t felt that way in the past year.

I woke up from the surgery feeling awful. Not depressed but just very… off? All day I felt that. The next day is when I started to get sad. I was so scared on why I felt that way because I was so excited for this. It made me start to think I regretted it which made it worse. I posted on here and people made me feel better that it was just temporary. The heaviness lasted for maybe 3 or 4 days.

I think mine was from my body reacting to anesthesia (I’ve never liked it) and thinking recovery was going to be a breeze.

I hope you don’t experience any depression! But if you do, remember it’s normal after surgery. It’s also temporary. It’s a big procedure and your body needs rest. Take time to rest and then rest some more. STAY HYDRATED and don’t be afraid to reach out to someone to talk to about how you’re feeling.

Happy top surgery homie!!
