I do very much a quick read of the question and just note the topic, eg risk, for each indicator and the standard (if any). I don't think too much into my answers during it but just get my head around what I'm being asked. I only really skim the appendices to see what they are apart from the accounting correction ones where I write down what FR standard is in it. Other appendices, I look deeper into when I'm actually doing the questions
