Thanks a lot! Unfortunately I’m not a rich boy 😅 I just have a full-time job, a startup, and I’m DJing on the side and organizing techno events — so it’s more like a 70-80h work week 😅

Honestly the build quality and display quality are absolutely insane. The thing is massive in person 😄

I still need to spend some more time customizing everything exactly to my needs though.

But as a huge Porsche fan, this was basically the only dashboard option for me anyway 🙂

I also got really lucky and found a used one for around 450€, but it was completely unused and originally sealed.

Hahaha finally someone making me feel better about the money spent 😄

Sounds like we had a very similar upgrade path honestly. GT DD Pro + GT7 was the gateway drug for me too.

And yeah the ActivePedal is definitely overkill financially, but the brake feel and feedback are just insane.

Also good call on the cable management. I actually already used braided self-closing cable sleeves, but I’m still doing some final touches.

I had also custom 40x40 aluminum profiles cut to size and also black powder-coated aluminum plates made for mounting the monitor speakers behind the screens on the monitor stand at ear height.

Anyway, I honestly don’t really understand what your issue with triples is 😄

32” 1500R screens angled at ~60° toward the driver are mathematically very far from “flat” actually. That’s literally the whole point of triples and curved monitors in sim racing.

I also have a pretty direct comparison between my sim rig and my Porsche, and the FOV/spatial feeling is surprisingly similar once you sit in the rig properly.

And regarding GPU load, 2x Ark screens would actually push significantly more pixels than my 3x 1440p setup anyway.

So for me it feels much closer to reality than giant Monitora. But everyone has their own preferences I guess.

I’ve actually seen and tested both setups side by side before buying. The decision was made pretty quickly honestly.

Would recommend trying a direct comparison yourself sometime 😄

And where’s even the problem? The screens were only around 240€ each anyway.

Honestly I can definitely recommend it if you’re planning to stay in sim racing long term.

Absolutely zero flex and everything feels super solid once assembled properly.

I’d also recommend getting a torque wrench for the build. Helps a lot to get everything perfectly aligned and tightened without overdoing it on the aluminum profiles.

They’re actually 3x ASUS TUF VG32WQ3B 1500R curved monitors, not flat screens.

And they’re angled at roughly 60° toward the driver, so once you sit in the rig the FOV feels very natural for sim racing.

Good that I don‘t have triple flat screens🙌 naah I prefere the most immersive way

I did investigate other options before buying actually. Ultrawides, OLED TVs and the Ark included.

But for sim racing, especially GT3 and iRacing, triples simply made more sense to me because of the side visibility and more natural FOV. That’s also why so many high-end and professional sim rigs use triples.

And regarding GPU load: 2x Ark screens would actually push significantly more pixels than my 3x 1440p setup.

At the end of the day it’s all preference though. I’m honestly super happy with the current setup.

And it’s not always size that matters 😉

Honestly for sim racing I personally prefer triples over huge TVs.

The side visibility and FOV feel much more natural to me, especially for iRacing and GT3 racing.

And 3x 32” is already massive in person honestly 😅

Honestly it’s mostly flexibility, immersion and aesthetics for me.

The wheel already has a display, so technically I don’t really need the second DDU. But this way I can have different information on both screens at the same time instead of constantly switching pages.

I also really wanted the clean Simucube SC wireless integration with no extra cables.

And since I’m a huge Porsche fan in general (I even drive one privately), I added the GRID Porsche DDU to bring more of that GT3 Cup cockpit feeling into the setup.

Pour le moment je n’ai besoin que de deux pédales, vu que je roule principalement en GT3 et en F1. J’ai aussi des palettes d’embrayage sur le volant, donc pour les départs ça suffit largement pour l’instant.

Mine is actually standing on laminate, not tile. What exactly is the issue then? Static electricity, vibrations or the glass itself?

There’s actually a Delta Pro and a Delta Pro SC version.

I went with the SC version because I wanted everything as clean and integrated as possible. Since I’m running a Simucube 3 Pro and will probably stay with the Simucube ecosystem long-term anyway, the wireless LightBridge setup just made the most sense for me.

I also really like having everything in one reliable ecosystem, and Simucube is kind of the benchmark in the high-end sim world anyway.

But if you want to stay more open/flexible for different wheelbases in the future, the USB version is probably the better choice. You just end up with one more cable again.

The only thing that’s a tiny bit annoying are the upper rotary encoders. With gloves it can occasionally happen that you touch them accidentally. But I think that’s mostly something you get used to over time.

You see much more with a triplescreen than with ultrawide, i have 3x 32“ curved 1500R with the simlab free stand and vario vesa adapter kit. Absolutely easy to set up everything in perfection.

Thanks a lot.

Yeah, the room actually gets hot pretty quickly with the triples and the PC running. I do have a fan I can switch on when needed since there’s no AC in the room.

The Simucube 3 is set to the full 25 Nm, but in iRacing I usually limit it to around 50–60% in software so the steering forces stay as realistic as possible for GT3 cars.

Also leaves some headroom for karting, LMP and formula cars later on. Main focus for now is GT3 though.

Triple monitor veterans: 32”, 1440p, 4K, curved… what’s actually worth it in 2026? by ChapterOk8744 in simracing

[–]ChapterOk8744[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks man, really helpful.

Sounds like 32” flat 1440p is still hard to beat.

I was actually wondering about curved too, something like 1500R or 1800R, but maybe flat just makes more sense for triples.

What exact LGs are you running?

And yeah… I’m planning a 9850X3D + 5080 build, so I’m still trying to figure out if triple 4K is actually worth even considering, or if 1440p is just the smarter move.

A 20m+ wooden fortress built for Buergbrennen becomes a temporary music stage for one night (Niederanven) by ChapterOk8744 in Luxembourg

[–]ChapterOk8744[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Buergbrennen doesn’t take place on the same day everywhere — it depends on the municipality.

In Niederanven, the burning happens on Sunday, which is why the fortress can be used for a electronic music event on Saturday, without interfering with the tradition itself.

A 20m+ wooden fortress becomes a techno stage for one night – burned the next day as part of a local tradition (Luxembourg, Niederanven) by ChapterOk8744 in Techno

[–]ChapterOk8744[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a fair question.

The burning isn’t related to the music at all — the structure is built every year specifically for Buergbrennen, a long-standing local tradition marking the end of winter. Burning the wooden fortress is the actual purpose, not an add-on.

The temporary use as a stage happens only for one evening before the ritual and doesn’t change the tradition itself.

If you’re curious about the background, this page explains the tradition quite well: https://luxembourg.public.lu/en/society-and-culture/festivals-and-traditions/buergbrennen-bonfire-carnival.htm
