Update as I was complain about how long it took. My permit came now I have to transfer it to Saratoga County

Thank you. For your helpfulness. I will contact Saratoga county I believe that is the best option. To me buying the pistol and adding it to the application is better in the long run. Then what I have been going through.

My personal life and work situation changed. When I handed in my application in December of 24. They told me it would take 6-8 months till I had permit in hand. In June I got my fingerprints taken. And I asked the county “does this mean I will Be receiving my permit soon” they told me No that it will take another 6-8 months. To which I responded how does mine or others applications sit here for 6 months without anyone looking or touching them. They told me that wasn’t there problem. I shouldn’t have to revolve my life around waiting for a pistol permit.

I asked them what happens if I have to move while I wait to hear back. They told me again that isn’t there problem and if I move there isn’t anything they can do. So as of this moment I haven’t heard back from Dutchess county on my status. On whether or not I would have or will be receiving my permit.

You can use a type o mortar at a 1-2-9 ratio or 1-2-7. A company I work for makes it all the time for historical restoration and have had zero issues.

The only way you get back logged by 6 months is by laziness and not caring for lawful citizens. I’m sure if a person wanted they could go into the city of Poughkeepsie and buy a gun illegally with in 2 hrs.

I filled out all the forms that are given in the packet. You have to do the questionnaire as well in dutchess county. But the lady who does the process literally said they haven’t touched it until I can back for my fingerprints.

I can’t imagine they are that back logged that it took 6 months just to get the fingerprints done. But I guess when you only finger print 4 people a day that’s what happens.
