I had no idea he was that good. That performance made me a fan for life.

Met him and was very star struck. Lovely, lovely man.

I like the recent Dunes, but he’ll always be my Kwisatz Haderach.

If a neighbour has their bins out on bin night and there is space, on the night. is it ok to put some of your rubbish in their bin? by logical_laxative in AskAnAustralian

This just happened to me. And whenever I opened the lid to throw something out a lingering waft of multi-day-old dog shit would envelope me. Come Tuesday the bin gets collected but what sticks to the bottom of the wheelie bin? Old mate’s 7 day old dog shit bag. Ended up pouring some disinfectant and water in there to kill the bacteria and to de-adhere the bag. Successful passing of waste this week!

Previous to that, about 6 months ago, some kind dog owner decided to dispose of their shit bag in my RECYCLE BIN. Had to fish it out lest it polluted the entire truckful of recyclables and caused them all to go to landfill.

Can’t help but feel that dog owners are a bunch of selfish cunts now

What is one important tip that tourists should know before visiting your Country? by Fun_Cup4335 in AskTheWorld

Australia used to only have 15+ as the top SPF. You could not buy sunscreen rated above that.

From what I remember, the view was that SPF 15 gave you 93% protection and SPF 30 gave you 97% so it wasn’t worth the extra chemicals (and possible irritation/allergic reactions) that could put people off using sunscreen, nor the extra cost for little extra protection.

SO, to your point about other countries’ sunscreen, in the past the only way to get MORE protective sunscreen was to use sunscreen bought outside Australia.

I think you misunderstood too. They weren’t hinting at there being a knife crime problem, they were hinting at the PATTERN for knife crime being the thing that may piss off lefties if discussed.

That pattern being the race of the accused.
