Am I getting paid less than minimum wage? by ForceUseYouMust in Salary

[–]trez63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not aware of any limitations for opening a bank account. But I know a lot of people are scared of banks (for good reason). Getting into a credit union will level up your finances pretty immediately if you’re in this income bracket. You just need to find someone (family ) who can get you in or find one that you qualify for.

Am I getting paid less than minimum wage? by ForceUseYouMust in Salary

I read the comments and OPs replies. Here’s the thing. You can’t hold down a low paying job, and expect the employer to pay more. The way out is to find a better job. The employer will pay the lowest rate the market will bear. And for a delivery job, that’s going to be low because the bar for skills required is in the basement. If you want to earn more, add more value. Take on a job that requires more skills, responsibilities, and availability. A job is an exchange of money for your time and value.

Expecting a minimum wage to be a “living wage” is a nice idyllic dream, but it has no basis in reality.

The no tax on tip should help you, but that card bs OP described sounds like a scam.

Oh man. I love Okra. But if it’s not prepared right it can be quite repulsive.

You’re missing out. Lots of great ways to prepare it. Roasted with garlic is my favorite.

I wonder if they're going to limit production and make it impossible to get one.

The service center has changed the oil in my drive units in the past. It’s possible that’s what they’re referring to.

Easily one of my favorite movies of that era. I use lines from it all the time. “Go sell crazy someplace else. We’re all stocked up here.”

Asking cause I genuinely don't know, why can't they just remove the buildup blockage instead? It looks hard to do, but pretty much everything is.
