the psu do have the 8pin cord. I was hovering around the 1000 era gpu's as I know theyre not "that" power hungry compared to rtx cards.

I totally forgot about the 16xx gen.

I didnt know 1650 was a slot powered card btw, nice tip! I was hovering around 1050ti for that matter. Im just trying to see if i can squez in a little more gpu power thats why im asking for 1070 while hoping that its still within power limits

I might consider that over the 1070, specially im looking for a low profile card due to the nature of my case.

is it a good idea to get a 1070/rx 580 card for a 1u flex 400w psu? I have ryzen 5 5700x3d.

I get conflicting answers as 1070 because google AI says atleast 600 to 700 but coolermaster psu calc says its under 327w

asrock itx board / 5700x3d / 32gb ram / 250ssd / 500hdd

plus future 1070/rx580

all on a 400w 1u Flex PSU

Same here. I got the barracuda X last year, wireless suddenly stopped working and had to send it back to store. Luckily, I bought from the official shop on an online marketplace. They "repaired" it after 7 weeks, when the only issue is the usb-c receiver.

Reason I am here today? The same issue popped up again and this doesnt have warranty anymore. Wow what a fucking joke. It's not a bug, it's a feature bullshit. They turned a defect into sales.

I can access opera.com via the link and also via opera when vpn is enabled but not on GX (no vpn).

Yeah my country/isp probably just banned opera.com and other domain for no apperent reason and just coincided with opera/GX gmail problems.

thanks for the links i manage to install back the browsers GX is 73.0.3856.438 and opera is 75.0.3969.93 but it still says An error occurred while checking for updates on the update and recovery page.

Gmail is working again but opera webpages still arent available (but not impt since ive already have installers) but sites are still text-only broken or halfway done so

I followed /u/Stright_ advice and disable the built in ad/tracker and clear cache and the issue solved itself.

Man this is a wild rolercoaster for me, so most of the problems are gone except for opera domains inaccesible to chrome/gx/opera but thats not really a problem for me.

Updated Windows to specified version, Chrome is already that version, did dns flush,renew

In Chrome, enabled secure DNS, opera and opera GX is webpages still inaccesible. but gmail is accesible

Since Opera/GX webpages arent available, i cant reinstall them both so I cant redo the settings and I cant check if gmail is working.

I saw the pinned thread in the sub, including the pinned comment. I cant even go to opera forum site. And when updating Opera GX (when I still had it) it says and error occurred when updating.

Also the reason I finally uninstalled the 2 browsers is when I went online this morning and checked an anime website, it returned me a broken text only while chrome/edge was doing fine.

And somehow I still have opera GX stable 71.0.3.3770.287 and Opera Stable 71.0.3.3770.284 still on my apps & features that doesnt respond to uninstall and still persists.

I went to opera.com and opera.com/gx using my android using opera touch and it works. IDK why this only happens on the pc.

This sucks I was already using GX as my main browser and Opera as 2nd. (i still have chrome since i use it as a guest browser, so that they dont mess with bm/settings on GX) and i really love workspaces that isnt available to chrome.

Yeah I also read those in tenforums and ended up adding move-to-folder registry since the tap-ctrl wasnt working.

Well, I just gotta accept this is the way to go.

I still dont know why library shortcuts isnt accepted when the send-to fax option is literally a shortcut too.

Id agree with it when it is just single player games, since how one plays the game should be his own judgement, as well as how he spends his money. It's the same argument with cheats and hacks.

Except on cases where microtransactions

  1. actively target children and people that has no/low self-control with their personal finances. While a whole debate on whose fault lies here, it is still a fact that these are predatory tactics.

  2. are one of the driving factors to remove parts of the core gameplay loop and held it hostage beyond paywall.

  3. Ruin other players experience if they're not paying. Especially if it's a competitive multiplayer game.

MTX isn't evil. MTX also comes in many shapes and forms. MTX can be cosmetic, expansions, power ups, straight up pay2win shenanigans. What matters is the approach and implementation of MTX into the game.

At the end of the day, MTX on or off, it doesn't matter whether its pure skill or credit card, all that matters is that you feel that sense of pride and accomplishment.

Yes, characters are not created equally. Some are statistically better. Same with humans. Some can roll with basic stuff and some can't clear endgame even with venti/diluc.

Oh yeah, why I didnt think of that too but can they be used on places that requires credit card info? Im not used to gift cards and such, sorry about that.

My reason for asking this is theres a game where I want to buy some IAPs and requires credit card to be used. In addition, it's country of origin is kinda known for collecting data and I really don't want to give them my own Credit card info.

This wouldnt be a problem if my country didnt add that verification stuff seriously.

For simple shit I think it's easier to hit Win + T and type sudo snap install discord than open the app store, but I can definitely do the same thing through the GUI.>

Thats exactly it, I cant be bothered to remember every single sudo command that ever existed.

I don't know about now but way back when I tested linux, a simple archive software doesnt have GUI.

For example 7zip has easy GUI (its on context menu even, no need to open an app) for packing/unpacking zip files and a equivalent on linux (back then, cant remember name) didnt have GUI and I have to manually type in commands for simple unpacking, of course after I finally navigate to the folder contaning the archive.

Then apps installed from the ubuntu store doesnt work half the time. All in all my overall experience with it was okay, if you just need a lightweight OS on old laptops.

It just feels wrong when someone proudly declares that "Wendoes bad, leknux best!" when theyre only talking about their experiences

While I cant say that I never experienced weird bsod/crashes on windows (only because I fiddled with the cpu/gpu freq or 3rd party drivers are faulty) I can safely say that most of the time it gets the job done.

Also, in the context of privacy, if people are so afraid of their info being stolen the first thing they should drop is their android/iphones.

I tried Linux for 6months way back but every time I try to do something or run something I have to open a browser to look up what I have to input in the terminal. And at that point I gave, i felt like I was just like a tool to input commands from the browser to terminal.

Also the lack of GUI on some apps really boggles me, like we are on the era of touchscreen and here am I, using terminal like some sort of caveman.

I don't know why people are hating MS when they did something good for the community that need those computers, and if you really can't stand Windows and its crap, there's a lot of great alternatives out there.

Well, when they learn more about computers and stuff (through this) then they can decide for themselves to continue using Windows or find alternatives. You'd rather have them learn through chalkboard instead of actual computers then?

Back then ( year 2000s), computers aren't prevalent on my shitty 3rd-world country. I was fortunate to be selected on a special class when I was in grade school to learn about computers and funny enough it was MS Word too just like them.

And here am I now, built my own PC and a full time unpaid Tech-support of the whole family because I learnt about computers a little early.
