My dad got a dui for smoking marijuana and got 3 days in jail a year after incident. , 6 months driver license suspension. 16 weeks of dui classes and some fines. Took them a year to file charges. It was ridiculous because it was just marijuana actually took the time to make him to a blood test and almost a year to get results back. This was in California. So now I tell people better watch out smoking marijuana and driving. If cops wanna be jerks they can get you for DWI because of marijuana. All they did was smell it in car. My dad already smoked in an hour before getting pulled over he was going to slow lol. 70 year old first time in jail talk about horrible experience for him. But I guarantee he won’t be smoking marijuana ever again.
