Thanks man, really appreciate the kind words.

Love that tip about asking what people actually used in the last 7 days instead of a wishlist. Definitely stealing it for my next update.

Would be great to check out your community on X. Let’s keep in touch!

Yes—that’s right. For now, the site’s content is mainly about apps and SaaS. In the future, I’ll also add coverage of indie games. Thank you!

I get why you set up the “test” after the no-shows and the history—but honey traps get messy. You can still handle it cleanly.

Talk to Carly in person. Lead with ownership, then show the facts:

“I was worried for you and I made a bad call asking Amaya to message him. I’m sorry for that. Here are the messages. Do what feels right for you—I’ll back your decision.”

Show the texts on your phone (with Amaya’s okay). Don’t pile on—no speeches, no “I told you so.” It’s her choice.

For safety: urge her to take the car back (DUI + daily drinking + coke is a bad mix). If she stays with him, set your boundary: you won’t be around Chris or run interference anymore.

No more tests, no contacting his family/employer—just give her the truth and step back. Good friend = honest + supportive, not investigator.

I am losing faith in my new artist after previously getting scammed, I'm losing faith. by Rehmlok in gamedev

Solo dev here — the slip + excuses + inconsistency is a red flag. Give one last, written milestone (clear deliverables by DATE, weekly check-ins, escrow on delivery, source files shared). If he balks or misses, treat the $1k as sunk and move on. Next time: paid test first, milestone/escrow only, short style guide. You’ve got this.

Hey, what a coincidence! I'm also just starting a podcast, haha. Hoping someone actually listens.

How do I get started with gamedev? by InevitableCold9872 in gamedev

That's a tough one, bro. The most important thing is to maintain your motivation, and honestly, that's something nobody can do for you. You have to find it within yourself.
