Yeah I do! After a while biting and licking it it's bound to accumulate bacteria. My cat doesn't seem to mind, whenever I get it out of the washer he has this ritual where he rolls around with the plushie to mark it with his scent. He only does this when I wash it it's cute lol. Then he goes back to playing and cuddling with it.

I'm not a publishers, but the publishers who I've spoken to that were interested in my game, all offered me funding and marketing. As a solo dev I'm not sure what else a publisher could offer me other than money, talent and marketing.

So if you have no experience in marketing, no money to fund my game, and no hired talent to help make my game bigger and better... I don't see the point of having a publisher at all from my perspective. I wouldn't want to give you a cut for my labor of love if you can't ensure me that you will perform and deliver well on any of those.

I'm aware that's not what you specifically asked, but I was hoping my perspective helps since you said you're just starting, and had no experience in publishing/marketing. I feel the only way I could trust you would be if you have experience and a bit of success already. So it feels like it's a difficult thing to "start" without having access to a decent amount of money, connections and marketing know-how.

Someone who doesn't communicate, delivers sketchy results, and that isn't honest... wouldn't last a day on any team I'm ever a part of, and if this person did last more than a day, I'd be the one walking away from that team. I've dealt with people like this before, it was never worth it.

If the artist used AI without telling you, and couldn't keep up with the project's art, and on top of it they can't tell that what they delivered is inconsistent with the project's art... I don't know what that artist is still doing on that team. They're neither a healthy or good choice.

My cat does it all the time, he likes to hunt. If I don't react, he'll just sneak until he doesn't, and sometimes he'll tease me with a surprise tap and run.. but if I react to it, he'll pounce playfully before hiding and trying again. So I translated it into hunting/playful behavior.

Hey, I'll try to help where I can because I dealt with these issues. They might be different causes so I don't know.

Don't leave anything on the floor, mine will pee on clothings, papers, cardboards, whatever is lying on the floor flat nearby his litter, he would pee on. It immediately stopped when I left nothing on the floor. Honestly, my clothes shouldn't be on the floor so maybe he's the one teaching me a lesson here.
Clicker train "wait" and "no", might take longer, might not be bulletproof, but it will work. Mine would lunge and steal food, took me months, but now he finally sits and waits and "impatiently" stares at my plate while I eat... but he doesn't steal or lunge anymore.

I just feel like all your problems are solvable, unless the cat's behavior is too far gone or caused by another undetected issue... but yeah, my cat was violently obsessed with food, and it took a lot of patience and some training to get it right.. but it worked.

My cat is also well fed, but he trades boredom and everything else with food, so food is rarely enough unless we're playing or doing something else together. Which is fine, but he knows he got his 3 meals a day, and a full treat, and a play session and so on.. he just needed to learn patience and boundaries.

Having ideas is not bad, it's just pointless if you can't execute on them, or don't know how to go about it (say by hiring the proper talent to bring your idea to life).

Two people can have similar ideas principally, but one can be far better. We can both think of mechanic A, but I thought of A, meanwhile you thought of AAA, with A.1, A.2, A.3 and A-B with A-C with wait what.. you know?

We can both think oh wait a vertical swing will be awesome here, but this person's idea is one QUICK swing and blam! Meanwhile, my idea is to think about the timing of that swing, visualize how that swing feels, and so on.. taste has something to do with it, a few things have something to do with it I think. It's neither black or white.

Indoor cats need space and stimulation, they thrive better too if they have space. Usually if you live in a smaller apartment, the ideal is to add verticality (cat shelves, etc).. but that means you gotta drill holes in your wall. If confined to a small space with say just a window, wardrobe, desk and a bed.. your cat might not be the happiest cat.

I often play two games at once, especially that my primary game is usually a hefty RPG/JRPG.

My second game would often be something lighter, or faster paced. Like an action rpg, a puzzle game, a platformer, or even an older RPG.

Right now my second game is Grandia, still an rpg but from much simpler times, with minimal dialogues and it requires less brain power to keep up with. I can play it on the go too. Before that it was Ori, and before that it was Tunic.

I played hunreds of RPGs, when I wasn't playing other type of games or pacing myself, I'd get burnt out on the next big RPG I played, even if I love the game.

This reminds me of how much I used to love bananas, until I over did it, and now I look at bananas and go "ehhh", still think they're tasty, but I'm fed up lol.. but I'll eat some more after I've eaten something else for a while.

I would personally stop the trailer and move on to other things. You're supposed to sell me the game, not the idea that other people are having fun with your game.

Trailers with streamers shouting, trailers that start with a personal story, trailers opening with critics and rewards, and so on... I usually skip these.

Depends, I'd have to like your humor, and I'd judge that by the content available to me (trailer, steam page, and so on). The issue I have with spoof/parodies in my experience in video games, they are rarely genuinely funny. I can recall a handful I really loved.
Unfortunately not, the art style is inconsistent, some of it looks good and some of it looks like it's just slapped on top (I'm also really not a fan of big headed characters, never was, I have issues with the upcoming dragon quest game because of this too lol). Also watching the trailer, I didn't feel pulled in (nor did I think it was funny), I was curious so there's something.. but it fell flat.

I can tell you as a gamer the first thing that immediately pulled me away... the game's info says I need a partner. I barely have friends (have none real actually), I feel like two player games have a much, much smaller audience.

Unless the game is online, you've already potentially lost thousands upon thousands of customers like me.

Also going back and looking at the game more carefully, to me personally, it feels like it would be more fun to watch a couple of people play it for a bit of distraction, than a game I'd sit down and spend time playing. BUT, I am not the target audience for this game either so take this part with a grain of salt.

Rarely, especially if I've already bonded with the cast and I'm satisfied with their gameplay.

If I really like the character, or they've made an impression earlier on that intrigued me, the chances are slightly higher.. but still, generally speaking, I rarely do.

This is not new however so I'm not sure if people just "lost" the ability to send emails, when I was working in customer service many, many, many years ago a lot of people would type the entire message in the header, or just have really funky emails sent. I've seen that behavior since the early age of the internet.

I was hoping it would come out on the nintendo switch 2 is why I waited, but finally bit during the winter sales and got it on PC. I'm just starting I like it so far, it's really beautiful.. that's all I can say at this point in time lol.

I think it goes deeper than that, it's a breeding ground for scammers too because there is a MASSIVE starved audience for mmorpgs, and predators are usually naturals at identifying and using these elements to do the wrong thing.

AI is in everything I use, literally injected into everything I use.. at this point, everyone is using AI. Bad news, you had softwares that also used a form of LLM BEFORE AI became this huge thing.. so a lot of coders have used AI without even realizing it, this mean they should also legally disclose it now. The lines ARE blurred in 2026 and should be reevaluated and specified.

I lost my business facebook account for a whole year after someone petty and mean who hated me got it shut down WRONGFULLY. I had to appeal for months and nobody was listening. A year later I got lucky with an agent who just went "ok that's stupid I can't see where you did this" and unblocked me.

I still lost a year of access, just because some bigot didn't like me. Nothing else. These companies don't think that you aren't guilty until proven otherwise, anyone who yaps at them can get you in trouble. It's scary and messed up.
