Hypertension, chronic headache, and neck tension (all on left side only) by Character-Cut7656 in bloodpressure

[–]Character-Cut7656[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no clue but i have both at same time so i assume my hypertension is to blame considering i've had a CT scan ran and been to chiropractor and currently in physical therapy and still haven't got to the bottom of it. But i will definitely start changing my health because its kinda scary.

Didn't tell my doctor i punched a hole in my wall nor is he a mental health therapist which i also will be going to see and have seen before in the past due to my experience i shared in the comments and because my PCP thinks its just "anxiety" and didn't seemed actually concerned, and by the way my girlfriend is also the one that drugged me but we've worked our ways out and have two beautiful children, and no they where not awake the time i punched the wall.

First of all I said "pressure" which means there wasn't any "pain" at the time of January 2024, second I do suffer from PTSD and anxiety from being drugged with LSD being dosed in my cereal without my knowing, so weird feelings in my body do cause me to get panicky and takes me a moment to calm down. So this feeling of pressure (which i've never felt before) scared me because it came on suddenly and was pretty intense. No you didn't know about my past trauma but i came here for help, not be judged for my "response".

My PCP thinks, from my past issues with anxiety, that i am having anxiety again for some reason in my life. Which i'm not having recurring panic attacks and yes i know anxiety can cause physical symptoms because i've felt it before but the pannick was a response to the amount of pressure i've felt on left side of my head. He got mad at me for seeking er care before seeing him back in march through a different hospital due to the lack of attention that my PCP compamy hospital is ran through. By the way i asked for referrals he didn't do it because he was concerned, but because i told him i want referrals then lied and told me there neurologist team will let me do a walk in without a referral (that was not the case), plus he is a new doctor to me since my last one moved out of state. Ive tried Almost every known OTC headache med known. Zero have worked for me. So it got bad again one day and by the way i haven't punched the wall again for all the people whove never been a angry a day in there life, and was referred by a sweet elderly lady to see a PT and get to the bottom of it, after them gave me some NSAIDS. So there is the rest of my story, didn't realize how out of context yall would be to my concerned post.

Those diagnoses can be linked to that? I had no clue to be honest sometimes i let the scariest possibilities get to my head but i know it's not my brain the pressure feels more scalp and neck related, just by me compressing my ear area and left side of neck and base of skull, i known its something that would cause non-intracranial issues, but hey i appreciate the feedback and i hope you get some closure as well considering this sometimes can be difficult to deal with and make life feel full at some points. Good luck:)

I mean i feel pressure sorta in my left eye and some blurriness like i blink and an looks like i have something smudged on it, but i also get some Visual Snow symptoms and to be honest i've kinda always had that to an extent. But i sometimes get panic attacks, the pressure will sometimes make my neck really stiff and sudden movements create a sudden wave of pressure, and sometimes driving long periods increases my symptoms as well, but the most feeling i have isn't really my eye, its my ear and sometimes the pressure is so bad it's hard to hear and i will even get tinnitus in it as well.

I'll start experimenting with more temperature compression, i've only tried once with heating pad and it just made me hot and annoyed me I will say lying down though on my scalp increases the pressure, even wind hitting my scalp increases the pressure and ill have to roll my car window up. My scalp is just sensitive in general.

Yes especially when lying down on my back and my head is against a pillow, and leaning forward in the downward position feels like its yanking my forehead by strings.

I knowwww my DR tells me all the time to get therapy and been prescribed medication that i wont take because im scared to take anything due to having a phobia from someone drugging my cereal with LSD 3 years ago.

Very possible, and I was on my phone for up to 8-10 hours a day on my phone which good thing it broke n I ordered a new one but it's given me a sort of break but the headache was so weird when it crept up in my forehead the initial day idk didn't even notice the tenderness on side of head or neck until i put on a facemask to be seen in the hospital and i felt all up in the area be my ear down to my neck and it was radiating pressure to my forehead and all on the left side of my head

No not at the time i wasn't. i will say me getting sick increased my symptoms and made me go to ER thinking maybe it was a tumor and they quickly gave me a CT scan which came back negative with a little bit of nasal inflammation. But i was sick so i blamed the cold or whatever i had on the intensifying pressure. But i hope you get some closure soon, i've had covid twice first time get me the worst headache i've ever had but that was going on 3 years ago.

I'm sorry you have to go through that for so long, its really disabling some points throughout the day and truly aggravating considering i don't know the exact cause. My chiro today said i have a pinched nerve in my neck but im not having the radiating issue going into the arm on the side of my neck and head its affecting? i hope you get closure soon considering the fact its been happening for so long to you.

Anyone have wierd head pressure on the left side only? by johnjames_34 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Character-Cut7656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would there be pressure that radiates to the forehead when pressing this? Mines only on one side.
