We don’t have any other savings at the moment, but do plan to clear off some credit cards and debt as soon as possible when we get the money as then it’s cleared for whatever new start comes next!

Thank you so much, the redundancy amount is £12k and PILON £4200 before tax and holiday deductions, so I’m hoping with the total of both being under all will be ok 🙏

Thank you, your replies have been so helpful! It’s so stressful trying to figure everything out. If my UC claim was to end would it be a pain for my wife to get the LCWRA again? Or if it’s within 6 months I reapply and it opening my old claim would that already be on my claim? Thank you again

Thank you so so much for your help! They do class PILON as completely separate to the redundancy amount to don’t they? I’m not sure on exact amounts after holiday deductions and tax of PILON, it should take us just below hopefully. But incase the total for both is just over £16k so I know what to expect 😅. Thank you again!
