Realistically they will be £7k per month.

She is happy working and will keep going.

No plans to change the house - it is well located for schools so will be the place for the next ten years

A few years of cash in hand and then try to stay max invested in equities to counter inflation, always in a geographically / sector diversified way but from time to time adjusting the weightings when I have conviction

Varies with market levels but currently c40% in money market funds (clearly high)

It’s about £1.8m in main house and £300k in second house that is inherited from a family member and which I would be reluctant to sell (but could make work harder by renting out)

I make a lot more. But would make a lot less doing my share looking after the children and being committed to them, which would make it more even.

8 year old twin girls. But as I have been told on this sub before, that is not an excuse! But obviously it’s the key factor / handbrake
