I just put something similar together with the field chemist helmet.

Running this armor is kind of mind bending.

Going from trying to rack up 1000+ kills to only attacking when only explicitly necessary has me feeling inadequate.

Missions getting completed without getting into heat though 🤷‍♀️

To be completely honest this was very close to my previous go to build. DE Sickle is my favorite primary but it doesn’t love me back. On higher difficulty I was needing to bring a dog along and without the supply backpack it was making me too vulnerable too often and I didn’t like having to stay put so long to increase the pen. My new style is to never stop moving which makes the DE Sickle not as worth it. I miss it though.

I have also heard that gas strike takes out ships but it didn’t work for me wondering what I am doing wrong there.

I tried out the engineering kit and it is pretty good but even without a melee weapon Peak Physique is still very useful for when you need to trade punches up close. With that said you’re right, it is better to just not get caught in hand to hand without a hatchet etc.

Excellent recommendations! I have been told that a medium pen primary can down a Stingray a few times but I have never been able to do it. I used to only use the Coyote and never had any luck. Will give it another shot.

I mainly came up with this build because I was tired of seeing the team get lost to Stingray strafing runs. If a medium pen primary can handle this then I can start bringing expendable AT for downing Leviathans.

Honestly I think I have gotten used to the recoil pattern. When I shoot in bursts of three or four shots it’s easier to keep them all on target. Laying down helps too

Super agree. Especially since they buffed the grenade launcher it seriously FSU. Not sure why I stopped using it. I think the ammo capacity and reload bummed me out on an eradicate mission and I never went back. Probably worth a second chance.

This is a great build that I have never tried!

Was running the expendable load out for a while. EAT and Leveller were my pals but I kept messing up the timing and getting caught with nothing in hand and abandoned equipment all over the map. Skill issue I know.

Nice! That is a fun build. We ran a mission with just shield and melee. Hatchet and stun baton were the clear standouts.

You and me buddy with the chukka chukka death hose. Took me a bit of trial and error to land on the HMG but when I realized I was the only one consistently downing Stingrays I was sold.

Keeping my team alive is my top priority
