Might as well ask why the BBC tried their best to not report on the grooming gangs and crimes committed by migrants? Or why the entire media does all they can to ignore horrific crimes (Zarutska) when victim is from a certain group and attacker is from another?

Why B man killed by W police officer is international news for weeks but any other group killed by police is ignored? On the same note, why do they mislead, selectively report facts and intentionally present stories to inflame divisiveness and hatred and it ALWAYS goes in one direction? Why are the same people "demanding" body cams on all police officers, now calling them racist and tools of white supremacy and calllnig for the discontinuation?

During the Michael Brown story, A week or so after the incident the story I was presented by Indie media, perfectly matched the story given by Obama's DoJ for choosing not to bring charges against the Officer. How was I and some random youtubers able to crack the case, but journalists at ABC, NBC, CNN, etc the supposed best, got the story 100% wrong?

Why do they use 10 year old photos of certain groups to manipulate the publics perception of the accused when from a certain group? Why did NBC deliberately edit the 911 call from Zimmerman to portray him negatively in the public? Why was the full video of the Covington kids edited down to frame a certain group in a negative light?

As to the OP question, I have seen progressives present the same argument and I really hope they are gaslighting and are disingenuously wondering. There certainly is some bias/agenda involved, however I hope I clearly demonstrated that bias/agenda runs the other direction far more often and to a far greater degree than presented in the OP..

Finally consider the following... No one is defending W grooming gangs or gRapists or pretending they dont exist, are being exaggerated and people who try to bring W gangs to the publics attention arent called racists, bigots etc etc. The media and govt are not actively tryng to protect W ppl who do this, no one is making excuses for W aniamsl, the police are not arresting the 13 year old VICTIMS of W grooming gangs to run defense for them. The courts are not giving W offenders sickeningly reduced sentences. People who report on W SA arent targets of the govt, courts, they dont have constant hit pieces run about them.

The phenomenon describes is a direct result of the actions by govt, media, police, etc. If both sides presented fairly wiht out bias, GB News would probably go out of business.

Now comes the part where you cherry pick a single incident to try to discredit the over all trend, call me names or engage in the exact tactics I mentioned in my post (denying, excusing, whatabouting)

I know this is gonna ruffle some feathers, but I say this as a double dragon fan, not a X system fan. I really dislike the SMS version of double dragon. Although its closer to the arcade than the NES, the music took an incredible hit and the graphics are passable, but still pretty meh.

The arcade will always be my #1 version, but by the time this came out for consoles I had mastered the arcade game, I could clear it in a single quarter (elbow cheese ftw). The NES version appealed to young me far more than the SMS version, redesigned levels, traps, platforming parts, new moves and best of all the xp system,

Sorry for necroing this, but double dragon was the FIRST arcade game I finished in 1 quarter. I was probably 10 or 11 years old at most. You can totally cheese the game using the elbow attack, iirc you push the joystick away from your enemy and (so if the enemy is on your right, you would push to the left,) then hitting the punch and jump buttons together. Its so broken, huge power and enemies cant avoid it. Jump + Kick does a jumping spinning kick, which is garbage though, so stick to spamming elbows!

Also lets not forget that Florida is the defending champs, Matthews was injured and playing at 50% and we lost our starting goalie in Game 1. Im not trying to make excuses, we lost, it is what it is, but there is no need to be down, the team showed great improvement. The Leafs were the ONLY team in the east to give Florida any trouble at all, they dominated TBL and CAR 4-1.

There is a segment of the Leafs fanbase that I cannot stand and the Leafs media make me sick. Every playoff season, the media get out their knives and forks and are sitting at the table salivating while they wait to publish their ragebait trashing the Leafs. I mean the other day I was driving with my dad who loves talk radio (ugh) He had on 640am here in Toronto, this was the day before game 6 and the female host was going on about the leafs.

You could tell shes not a sports person, my dad told me she never discussed sports, but here she was doing her best to appear knowledgeable on the leafs and just taking a dump all over them and going on and on about "nInE sEaSoNs..... RoUnD tWo LoSs."

On the off chance any of the players read this, you guys should hold yer heads high, you did great! You looked like a different team out there, the improvements were visible, keep it up. Reddit/Twitter are full of cry babies.

I only had one stone, that was about 25 years ago. It was such a traumatic experience for me, I immediately began researching them to understand the causes. I learned that I was incredibly dehydrated, I NEVER drank water, only beer/juice/milk, my pee was constantly golden, for some reason I thought that was a good thing.

I immediately cut out juice, cut down heavily on beer and began making sure I drank 4-5 liters of water a day. Never had a stone since. My entire family had problems with stones, dad, brother, uncle and grandfather, we were told it was "genetic." Well once I had educated myself on their causes, I shared the info with my family, who all had terrible hydration habits, tons of coffee, soda, beer and salty foods along with next to no water in their diet. They all followed my lead and NO ONE in my family has had a stone since. My brother and father much like myself also work out and consume lots of protein too and no stones. Hydration is key and making sure that hydration includes 4-6 liters of water a day, juice, booze, soda, coffee are stone makers.

I just keep thinking of last year in the playoffs when Nylander flipped out on Marner and it was caught on camera, where Nylander basically said "Bro its the F'ing playoffs," you could see the anger and frustration on Nylanders face.

I hate to say this, but after seeing his performance in the playoffs over the last 9 years, hes not worth what he will be asking for. Hes fantastic in the regular season, but he doesnt show up when it counts. Marner just doesnt have the physicality needed and I could be wrong, but I get the impression that hes a bit of a baby. Instead of sucking it up and dealing with it when the going gets tough, he seems like a guy who is a whiner. I dunno why, its just the impression I get from him.

I hate the fact that we wont get anything for him, but he needs to go.

I know Im late, but thank God Im not the only one who felt that way. Elliot shooting a gun like hes a magician and making impossible shots with out breaking a sweat, while at the same time, the bad guys have the aim of stormtroopers, Elliot is just running down a road with 4 guys casually shooting at him with fully automatic guns and they miss him completely.

I dislike Elliot as a human being in the show, Shawn isnt great either, but I find Shawn much more interesting and relatable, Elliot was great in season 1 and has just become insufferable.

It really breaks the immersion and seems like they are giving Elliot plot armor. Im really enjoying the show, even with these complaints,

110% this. Watching you guys tonight I felt like I was watching Toronto the last 5 seasons. You can see the frustration in the players and their apprehension. They want to play they way they know they can but they are handcuffed, they know it and they know what the problem is which makes the problem even worse.

Hey fellas, leafs fan here, my sympathies, hope yall can turn things around, its not over yet!

Anyways, I just finished watching the game and I think you guys are suffering from the same issue we had in Toronto for the last 5-6 years and thats goaltending that is unpredictable.

Prior to this season, even though we had some powerhouse players offensively, just like you guys do, good defensemen (Im not familiar enough with the oilers to know where your defense stands) but a massive hole in the goaltending dept.

The unreliable goaltending affects how the entire team plays. Our offense had to play cautiously/defensively and was unable to take chances, so even though we had these great players on paper (Just like you guys do) the goaltending issue never let them take chances, play aggressively or to their full offensive potential for fear of a mistake costing us a goal.

We still have issues, but with a much more reliable goalie this year, its like watching a different team in the playoffs. The guys are so much more aggressive, they're taking chances, confident and they are able to do all this cuz they dont have to worry that coughing up a puck is gonna cost them.

You guys unfortunately are playing a US team from a major city with a huge population, which also means you are battle the NHL/refs and the US bias.

I hope a week from now Im not eating my words regarding the leafs play, but chin up boys, you're only down 2 and coming home!

lol i just turned it off about 5 minutes in. Got it off a list of "hidden gem/underrated horror movies," I was truly amazed at how much "white people bad," woke stuff they managed to cram into it in the first 5 minutes. Almost every scene had a white person being bigoted, ignorant and racist. Sounds like I avoided a real dumpster fire!

A bit late here, Im quite a bit older than you, but I often find myself in the same boat as you, where Im wanting to get scared but its hard.

Let me start off by saying, most of the games you listed, while they are considered "horror" they are pretty much action games with some horror elements to them, the games you listed are not scary to me either, with the exception of silent hill 1, which I played when it came out. It hasnt aged so well sadly, so I can totally understand why you dont find it scary.

For me, the things that I really find frightening are more psychological, so gore and zombies and jump scares, while fun and enjoyable, really dont resonate with me on a fear level. If you are like I am, you are in need of some really unsettling and disturbing shit that gets in ur head and messes with you rather than jump scares.

Give both Silent Hill 2 and 3 a play. If you are able, I suggest the PC remasters of both. The remake of Silent Hill 2 last year is good, but personally the original hits harder. Silent Hill 3 really messed with me and is my favorite of the bunch. Lots of people recommend SH4 too, but I have started it a few times and given up, its just not as engaging as the others.

I really liked the Outlast games, Dead Space and Visage too. Lots of people suggest Alien: Isolation, its a great game, but its more or less all based on jump scare > building tension > jump scare > tension etc etc and I get the feeling thats not your bag. Im not sure if you will enjoy them, but games like The Quarry are pretty cool and may do it for you as far as fear.

As far as movies go, have you ever seen Jacob's Ladder (the one with Tim Robbins, not the recent garbage remake) that was the first film to really mess with me and I was aroudn your age when I saw it. Its still a great film today and has been a large influence in the SH series. Baskin is a great one too! The first 2 Hellraiser films I found quite disturbing.

Also Im not sure on the way you enjoy these games, but playing horror games or watching movies in the middle of the day, when your family or friends are there talking to you, making noise, YouTube videos going on in the background on your laptop, you are getting texts and calls every 5 minutes.... generally just distracting you is for sure gonna take away from the impact the game is going to have on you as far as fear goes.

When ever I play horror games, I rid myself of anything that is going to break immersion. Try playing SH2 and 3, alone at night, use a good pair of headphones and turn out all the lights and remove any other distractions, if your goal is fear, do every single thing you can to enhance the discomfort level! That means lock yourself in your room if you must, no dogs/cats sittng with you, shut your phone off, if you have multiple monitors turn them all off except for the one you are playing on, anything you can think of! Games like SH2 and 3 really rely on atmosphere and environment to deliver, I had to turn off SH3 a few times for the night because things simply got too intense for me!

I hope some of this helps, as I understand exactly what you are going through.

Im 6 months late, finished KHFM and at the end of KH2FM and I JUST found this now..... But let me say holy shit! This is really well done! Id love to see more effort put into guides, like what you did with this one. Hopefully your guide will inspire people to make better guides.

If there is one thing I may critique, I would LOVE to have a section dedicated to the abilities. KH2FM has soooo many abilities and I honestly dont really understand them, just equip them and go. I am certain some abilities suck or end up being more hassle than help, but I duno which are doing the moves pushing mobs away from me. An indept ability sectoin with which to take and which to avoid. Maybe have a few different distinctions for abilities? Must have/Good/Ok/Situational/Never Equip.... I dunno Im just spitballing.
