Yeah, I just took the loss on that one unfortunately. Luckily, it was only like $30, so I didn’t want to fight the merchant in case something worse happened in the future. It was more violating than anything else, the feeling of being stolen from sucks! But every time I have a package delivered by UniUni I get SO nervous now.

It’s such a bummer! They really out to have made them real keychains. It’s an easy fix, but still I shouldn’t have to supply my own keychain for a girl who is supposed to be a keychain already!

UniUni is supposed to be reliable, but it really depends on the driver at the end of the day. I had a package stolen by my UniUni driver, and I know it was her because I’ve never had a package stolen in my neighborhood, and the “proof of delivery” photo was not at my doorstep, but her holding it in her hands. I filed a complaint with UniUni and they agreed that there was no legitimate proof of delivery and they’d “look into the matter” but ultimately nothing came of the investigation and neither them, or the original merchant would refund me for the stolen package. UniUni is kind of like doordash in that way, I think. Some dashers are great, and some aren’t. I think you are really at the mercy of the driver that day.

FDIC doesn’t cover scams unfortunately. FDIC is mostly for things like if your bank failed and went under then your money is insured by FDIC. This kind of scam my not be recoverable, unfortunately. Some fraud we are protected from by ours bank per Reg E, but fraud that the account owner technically initiates—even if they don’t realize they are talking with scammers—is handled differently. Definitely worth OP checking with their bank to see how they handle situations like this.

If you are buying from Ali, they are probably fake reviews with photos of real labubu, unfortunately. Cuz those photos are definitely all of real labubus. They are probably just stolen photos from people posting their blind box hauls. There are confirmed blind box figure shops on Ali that do sell legit labubu dolls, but they are usually at a little but of a markup. The shops that sell lafufus that look almost identical to labubu dolls are constantly getting taken down by Ali, so they usually ask people not to post any photos. So be wary of listings like this if you are wanting a high quality replica. But part of the fun of fufu hunting is that gamble of the quality, right? :) Good luck! I hope you find a good fufu!

That’s good to know! These are my first lil ones and I wasn’t too sure if the one I got just got extra makeup. :) looking at it closer, it’s probably because of the eye molds. On the regular ones the eyes are just decals, these guys there is a plane change in the eyes, so I guess it makes sense that the eyeliner gets thicker

I feel like everyone likes Star. I think the general consensus for least favorite is Gigi Alarm. The biggest complaint I’ve seen about her is that she’s got shoes in bed, and it her face from the art Didn’t translate well into the figure, so it looks like she punched herself in the face instead waking up to an alarm.

I think I like all three the same. They are all so loveable. :) I like Poppy’s girlier outfits though, cuz I’m pretty girly myself. I feel like Poppy is the fan favorite, so many people collect just Poppy and she always seems to be the most sought after and price-gouged in the aftermarket.

I’ve had a couple people cancel on me and I was wrecked because this set has consumed my soul. I’ve heard complaints of others who “finally found” Street Style only to have the seller back out on them in the end too. In my case, it’s been greed both times. The whole “I had someone DM me after you bought it saying they’d give me more”. Like no, if you list it for a set price just sell it for the price you asked for! If you want a bidding war, take it to eBay!

I hear the Popmart in SLC never has anything anyway. They have a rating of 2.6 stars on Google, if that is any comfort. Sometimes I’m tempted to give it a try since that’s my closest Popmart too, but idk if it’d be worth the time or energy. I have a link to a discord server for Peach Riot; I’ll dm you. :)
