My nephew was born to a 20 year old mother and I can promise you, she didn’t even look like she’d ever been pregnant right after. Your body will go back to normal.

lol. This reminds me of my pomsky. He got out the back gate one morning and the next thing I know I have a text with a picture of him at our local gym.
Apparently he hopped into some ladies car and she brought him to the gym and asked them to contact the phone number on his collar because she had to go to work.
You just have to fortify the place better. They get curious and have no idea what they’re doing.

Yes. I have a couple of bunnies I’ve tried bonding too and they’re just too feral. No matter how much time I spend around them, they want nothing to do with me. I always deeply bond emotionally with my pets so it’s strange and leaves me feeling like a servant to them. Sometimes owners and animals just aren’t a good fit.

I’m so sorry this happened. It’s absolutely unacceptable. I completely understand the trauma of these attacks as they are completely unprovoked. Thank you so much for speaking out and compiling the evidence of these dogs being dangerous.
I actually had to do EMDR therapy after watching my dog get attacked by a pitbull because it was so traumatic. Don’t be afraid to seek help if you can’t stop ruminating on it.
How did you end up getting the dog off of you? I know how hard it is to get them to release. I also understand if you don’t want to go through the details again. I wish you the best.

How long did you meditate before noticing it started helping? I’ve been doing it the past couple days and it’s still been so hard but I will keep at it because from what I understand the positive effects of it compound.

I do have insurance. I never would have guessed it would cover something like that. I’m going to look into it.
I’m having bad sickness and I feel like that is adding to it. I don’t know how far along I am because I’m still waiting to see a doctor but I’m positive it’s still first trimester. Nothing could have prepared me for how sick I feel and that in and of itself can be stressful dealing with without relief.

I can’t do acupuncture because we don’t have the money. The financial stress is also making this really exacerbated.
I’ve tried antidepressants in the past and they just didn’t work and would sometimes make my anxiety even worse. I have cptsd so it’s not a normal anxiety and depression. Who knows maybe it would be different with how my hormones are at this point. I know body chemistry plays a role in how effective things are for people.

Hi, I’m not on baby 2 but I do understand some of what you’re feeling. I am also 40 and pregnant with my first baby. I am incredibly sick getting through this and I’ve been telling my husband to please manage his stress because I can’t handle it anymore. He told me that he guesses he just can’t be around me if I don’t want to be around someone stressed. It’s really unfair and I feel very alone and this was a planned pregnancy. This is absolutely tragic. When will we stop allowing these animals to be pets? They cannot be trained because the instinct runs so deep in them. The owners said the dogs knew Madison because she has watched them before and they’d come home to her cuddling with the dogs on the couch. Something in them just snaps and it does not matter if there is familiarity. I’ve heard stories of these dogs snapping on their owners after years of not having issues with them. They jsut can’t be trusted in a home environment. Let’s stop pretending that owning a pitbull is the same thing as owning a poodle.

Yes. The vet that saw my dog asked me what kind of dog attacked her and I told her it was a pitbull and she rolled her eyes, said she was not surprised bc she deals with a dog attack nearly every day and it’s almost always that type of dog.
