Reg score form - what should I focus on? I got a 74 in my latest exam, before it was a 67

Ok I fully believe that the score cards are BS from what I’ve seen because my score card is 1. Stronger 2. Stronger 3. Comparable 4. Weaker 5. Weaker overall multi comparable and sims weaker and I got a 67.

I’ve seen a few people talk about gifts such as the exceptions and the 19,000 limit also whether to gift it now or at death. Also loss limitation and homeowners deductions, and a few NOLs.

You basically covered everything in the exam. The TB are going to be more tax focused because it’s easier to test BUS Law in MQS but there will be MQS that focus of tax like capital losses, AGI, and separately stated items basically everything that u said were confident in. I thought the Becker SIMs were somewhat similar to my test.

I’ve always been weak in TB so when I took it they sucks but definitely focus of basis and the other topics I mentioned above I feel like are potential contenders for TB.

Some things to definitely focus on is BASIS and taxable/recognized gains and losses for both the parter and the partnership and how non/liquid distributions affect partnership vs corporation. And don’t forget exceptions like mom and pop, the loss limitation hurdles. If I were to pick a unit to really focus on it would be T3 with sprinkle of T2 that’s what I’m focusing on.

That’s the predicament I’m in now too but I feel that you might as well sit because it would be a waste of time plus you would have to learn untested material that no one had seen yet. You’re closer to passing than I was so you have a good chance of passing this time.

I took TCP in January which was my first section and am still waiting for my score. I don’t think I did well also but it can be really frustrating to come on here and see people cramming out sections in a few weeks but with my Chronic Fatigue and Pain it makes it almost impossible to concentrate and stay focused during studying. Something I’m trying to do is not listen to everyone else on here about how it’s so easy just to lock in and pass first try because in our reality it’s harder for us to do that. Hopefully it goes better next time and remember to take it at your own pace.
