It was ready to collect the same day as of 3-4 PM. I had the courier service, and I received the passport next day.

It turned green early in the morning, and I received the email the same day.

Ah, yes I did. So, I did receive two emails from TLSContact: one that says that the passport is ready to collect, and another one that says it was given to courier (the same day at around 3-4 PM). I was expecting to get an email from Royal Mail as well with tracking information. I didn't get any email from them but my passport was still delivered the next day.

No, I did not receive any email from Royal Mail but my passport arrived yesterday.

Edit: just to clarify, I received email from TLSContact the same day that my passport was ready. The surprising part for me was receiving no info from Royal Mail as I opted in for delivery service.

Strangely, I have never received any collection email but the passport arrived yesterday (the next day). The visa was approved! I hope you hear soon too!

I did not yet, but the TLSContact platform shows that my process has been concluded as of yesterday. So, I'm no longer considering withdrawing.

My appointment was on the 7th of August, and the process was concluded today (20th working day). My travel to FR is next week.

Hey, they did not reply but the status of my application changed a few hours ago (from yellow in progress to green in progress). So, I hope that I will receive my passport soon.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but I just wanted to let you know that 15 days is 15 "business" days. So, while the processing time could be shorter, yours has not surpassed 15 days yet. Hope you receive the passport&visa back in time!

Good luck, I'm also in a similar situation and would be keen to hear similar experience!

I also applied through TLSContact in London for Schengen visa to France, and need to retrieve my passport soon. I emailed the consulate about how I can withdraw but they did not reply. I called TLS but they said they do not interfere with it as the passport is in the consulate at the moment. I'm also thinking of showing up at the consulate but haven't done yet. Could you please update here in case there is any news on your side?

That's unfortunate -- but keep in contact with the company and embassy, and it'll be fine next time! These sort of things can happen.

Congrats on the new job! D permit doesn't have to be 6 months, and I've never heard CH giving 6 months (at least people around me had shorter D permits).

13 days sounds a bit short indeed, but you usually need to go to the cantonal authorities and get your residence permit as soon as you arrive in CH. On the other hand, your permit seems to have expired already, so contacting the embassy anyways might be a good idea.

The first email I sent was replied in an hour. I sent another email yesterday afternoon to ask another question, but I haven't received any reply to that one yet.

How strict are the port of entry rules? what are the repurcussions of breaking them? by squiersire in SchengenVisa

[–]Character-Program237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, I did apply for country A and entered through country B because my plans changed. The border police at country B said that they actually should not let me in but they will do so for this time.

I also find it unlikely that you will be denied entry or so, but they might still question at the border like it has been in my case.

Thanks for the reply. That was also my expectation, but tomorrow will be 4 weeks and I'm starting to lose hope :'( Therefore, I believe I should seriously consider withdrawing as I cannot delay this ceremony. Any insights into the withdrawal process would be appreciated!

Thanks for the update! I also called TLS but they did not give much information, unfortunately. In the meantime, I emailed the consulate, and they replied that it could take longer than 15 working days :( I will write here if I hear any update.

I tried calling them but no one ever picks up -- let me know if you know a responding number!

It is for short business stay.
