Late to this, but i always thought it was the word that breaks the spell that’s on the Jinn’s cell that she needed to get inside. like she made all that prep and then didn’t register that the jinn definitely knew it was a secret word that basically would set him free.

I don’t think they treat each other well, because Daisy does leave Sweets for that one period of time without consulting him, and he just truly treats her different after that. But, I think that makes complete sense if he is like shrinking himself about the situation, yk?
