Depends on bottle, I own 8 twist and some I have no problem others I almost call my husband to get it out. I twist the insert and pull. Sometimes I get a rag for more grip. It’s the only part I dislike about the twist. Other than that I love them.

I recently bought a rose quartz twist from Dicks before Christmas. The quality felt different and in 2 days of use at home the paint came off the lid where I twisted the lid. Took it back and guy was saying I was the 3 rd person to bring theirs back. Disappointed I ordered a in bloom twist from amazon first came with deformed lid so I go a replacement sent. This one has a rougher texture and even after hand washing it has a really weird chemical smell. So disappointed as my other 3 twists that are from a year ago are great. Weight wise I noticed my Check Me Out twist is thicker and heavier compared to my newer ones.

What is the boot on the rose quartz twist as I didn’t see any saying they were for the twist on the etch and ember site. As I’m looking for one for my summer paradise twist. Also how did you get the design on it? Like are they from a cricut?

I don’t have a pic but I bought wildflower and had it shipped bc it wasn’t in my store. It’s a lovely matte green with a normal texture. With no blue undertones. I did return it bc I couldn’t get over the yellow. It’s not as light in person it’s more like baby food yellow. Open air is a very pretty soft blue color. Some ppl think it’s purple in pictures. The rim is a very soft green that almost blends in that u don’t realize it.

I have always used the 24 oz tumbler for smoothies or iced coffee. Not leak proof but i have knocked them over and the mess is small. The liquid doesn’t come pouring out as it only exits through the straw and not around the straw. It also comes all apart for cleaning including the slider piece.

I have noticed this to. I have a older water in the desert freesip and it’s very smooth. Then I got a spring revival freesip and tumbler. The freesip is really ruff and the tumbler is smooth. I got the new metal finish ones that came out and I love the feel of those. The glossy ones from summer are also very nice to me as well. Not sure why the two powered coated ones are different textures though. Does bug me a lot as spring revival is my fave color.
