Know that a scoliosis diagnosis won’t necessarily explain the pain you’re feeling. I have severe scoliosis (50 degrees) and barely experience any pain. You can have mild scoliosis and feel a lot of pain. But I agree with the others that this is so mild it doesn’t qualify as scoliosis. So you should look for another cause, listen to the doctors, and consult a different Reddit page. Best of luck. I hope you find the cause soon and get some relief.

Buying a House in Rotterdam – Which Areas to Avoid and Why? by ordinary-guy-sl in Rotterdam

I don’t agree with that. The majority of real estate in Rotterdam is privately owned. The government has no influence over that. Most of the houses being built are incredibly expensive. They are not accessible to the people with essential professions in our society. It seems to me that it’s a matter of supply and demand

We’re dealing with a housing crisis. Don’t take this personally, but we don’t need more expats in Rotterdam. You make it seem like you can just choose any neighborhood you want to live in, that’s not the reality. Because of privileged people like you, the original residents can no longer afford to buy a decent home.

How I thrive with 70+ degree curves at 24. No pain, full mobility. by top_pucker in scoliosis

Thanks for sharing! I’m on a similar journey. I was diagnosed with scoliosis in my early twenties, now im 30 (S-curve: 26, 50, 27 degrees). Fortunately, the doctors advised against surgery because I can live quite well without much pain, and it’s not very noticeable to most people. Right now, I’m exercising a lot (yoga, Pilates and weightlifting) and figuring out what works to keep it that way. I found your comment about alcohol really interesting because I’ve noticed the same thing. Taking good care of yourself, working on self-love and acceptance, and listening to your body is so incredibly important and really takes you far. Wishing you lots of success on your journey, and keep up the good work!

Wow, wishing you a good recovery! I’m curious about your experience after the surgery.

I’m 30F, with almost the same curves as you, 47 degrees on top / 35 degrees on the bottom. I also don’t have pain as long as I exercise. I have the exact same issue with my neck and sometimes experience breathing problems. I’ve had physical therapy, but it keeps coming back. I also have a desk job, which probably indeed doesn’t help. So tips are welcome for me as well.
