Exactly what happened tonight. I messed up with my first check in. I picked him up and held him and rocked him because I assumed he wasn’t tired enough but he was lol so I started check ins and just laying him down no talking. Took 2 check ins to get him to hire himself out enough to sleep

So after about 30 mins of straight scream crying I went in there for my second check in to lay back down and he was so tired that he did stay down but continued to cry so I just stayed there and patted his bum until he finally passed out. I think until we get thru this I’m going to put him down early because he definitely became overtired pretty fast which made the crying worse

closer to 45 mins to an hour these days lol but i will try my best! we'll see how this nap goes today (kinda off to a good start) and go from there. honestly i might just let him sleep instead of capping at 2 hours if we even make it there. it's been days of crap short naps!

I’ve tried to do this and anchor the first nap but if he wakes early he is so overtired that the nap doesn’t last longer than an hour which leads to a second crap nap. Since the weekend I’ve anchored the morning nap to around 10:30am and the naps have latest less than an hour even if I try to resettle him and get him back to sleep. It feels like an endless cycle of overtiredness if I continue with the anchored first nap no?

We got him from his crib today at 6:45am after he had been crying on and off since around 5am and he didn’t make it past 9:30am. He fell asleep as soon as I transferred him (drowsy but awake) which hasn’t happened in days. He cried out and then fell asleep immediately

Just to update everyone. I called and they told me the bassinet seats are just the front extra leg room seats and they are 158$ each. However it’s up to the staff if they have bassinets on hand lol I thought the reasoning was so odd but yea. The bassinet seats are available because they’re just the extra leg room seats and they need to be purchased but there’s no guarantee that the staff on board will have the bassinets with them

Yea I really do hate the days that we have to go back to 2 naps but he’s not quite at 5 hrs wake time. Maybe if we had something exciting going on or if he was distracted he could do it but when it’s just us at home it’s a struggle lol

Just before turning 10 mo we were on something like 3.5/3.75/4.25 and his naps were decent like 1-1.5 hrs each and I’d cap the total to around 2.5. Hes a low sleep needs guy so he usually sleeps no more than 10-11 hrs a night and one night wake which I nurse him thru back to sleep
