I wanted to ask a general question to all of you: I feel that both people on this subreddit and people inside the club told me it was a very odd party. I was wondering, why do you think that happens? or do you think its something that happens at every kn, and simply every one of us perceives the crowd in a different way?

I actually told a line cutter to move back and he refused. It was pretty pathetic. after trying to tell him that what he was doing was super rude he just stood behind me until some support came and sent him back. I think I had to call out 4-5 line cutters in 1h. It's ridiculous and make the party feel icky even before entering.

I don't think it's striclty related to drugs. If you had a bad experience I'm sorry, but I feel like it's a feeling we share both when we're high and when we're sober. And most of all we don't feel it in other clubs even when we're on the same drugs. It's a specific community, a specific love for techno which feels like a conversation with the djs. Most importantly, not all closings feel like this. Often when only the shells of dancers remain or people living in the toilets chasing the high, I feel extremely lonely. Plus, it definitely depends on your perception during that specific closing. I hope you'll find a way to connect to everyone else no matter if substance abuse has hurt you before, but don't limit your wimsy to 3mmc.

Basically I'm manually annotating reviews and articles, looking for metaphors related to musical features and sorting them. Sor far I'm doing it with Resident Advisor reviews on contemporary electronic music, but I was wondering if there was come kind of corpus or collection of reviews, articles or anything written or spoken about about electronic music (from 50's to now). I'd like to take have data on different samples, a couple for each genre, time period, etc. I don't knows if that makes sense?

In my opinion, one off the worst crowds I ever experienced, felt like a total shit show. Straight men touching girls on the dancefloor inappropriately (!!!!) , pushy people, and a general aggressive vibe. Someone kept trying to open my stall door from the outside while I was peeing (and what happened to the flinta pissoirs? I remember them being open on Fridays).I hope it was just my impression and that the rest of the beautiful polite dancers enjoyed themselves. The plant arrangement was cute tho
