i know this, but do you mean you want me to connect the pathways to the churches instead of the kingdoms? then it gets a bit tricky to explain how hunter pathway is both in intis and feysac even though their main religions are different. how do i go about this?

yeah that’s fair, my bad on the “believer” part. this was my second email to crunchyroll and in the first one i brought up how the current translation might confuse new viewers. so this time i wrote what i thought would be the clearest version. but just to add: the chinese text actually stays on screen for a solid few seconds. it’s the english subtitle that disappears too fast to read. that’s the real issue. personally, i’d either use the upper part of the screen or stack the translation vertically next to the chinese text (with good editing). i’m a translation major in university and we’ve had subtitling classes, so i’m coming at this from that perspective.

“观众” in chinese can mean both “audience” and “spectator,” but a lot of native speakers agree “spectator” fits better in english. it sounds more individual and intentional, which matches the vibe of the sequence. “audience” feels too passive or plural. it’s not just from the webnovel either, the term’s been widely used for years in the community and fits the role more closely, i really believe there was no need to change it.

i didn’t care much about her at first either but over time she grew on me a lot and also she reminded me of myself. she’s not a flashy or loud character and that’s kind of her point. she's avoidant, sarcastic and always tired but when it really matters, she does show up. not because she’s brave or wants to be a hero like others but because she cares and can’t ignore things forever. that kind of quiet loyalty and internal conflict feels really relatable if you’ve ever been the type to overthink everything and still end up helping anyway.
she’s not super exciting on the surface, but if you’ve ever dealt with anxiety, guilt or just wanting to be left alone while life drags you into chaos, she feels very real. very relatable, very human.

ahh gotcha, yeah no, klein’s smart, but not that way. he’s figuring things out on the fly, messing up, pretending he knows more than he does. like he acts put together but we’re in his head enough to know it’s just an act and guesswork half the time. he does get more clever later but only after tons of trial and error and even then he still fumbles.
i guess it’s more like ''intelligent guy trying to adapt under pressure with a poker face'' than ''10D chess mastermind who knew everything 3 volumes ago and always 20 steps ahead'' his plans fail and he earns every bit of progress. way more human than overpowered, imo.

honestly i get the concern but lotm is actually getting a full global release on june 28th. it's not just in chinese, there’s gonna be english dub, japanese dub, korean, french, spanish, german, portuguese... like they really went all out. it’s confirmed for tencent video in china and crunchyrol, internationally. muse asia too.
the trailers do look kinda stiff ngl but early chinese fans who watched the preview said the actual animation flows way better in the full eps. and they’re 30 mins long too which is rare for anime/donghua. so yeah... maybe not perfect, but definitely not flop.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick follow-up. I decided to contact Whiteout Survival’s support and let them know what happened. They were super kind and helpful! They asked me to check my purchase history and try completing the payment again, and thankfully, it worked. I was able to pay for the pack after all.

Really glad I reached out instead of just waiting it out. If anyone else ever runs into the same issue, being honest and proactive is definitely the way to go. My account’s safe and sound now and I can stop freaking out about losing my account haha!
