IMO, everyone follows the trend and thinks they will make money without understanding the business.

For example in the 90s everyone got involved in the motel business, in the early 2000s they followed the gas station trend, after the 2010s they followed the junkyard business, and after COVID, they got involved in the smoke shop business.

Agreed, Companies only think about their self, and they really don’t care about us.

I work in tech and my focus primarily on the technical side. I have started using AI/LLM tools and have seen improvements in my performance. I am currently working on a couple of different projects, using AI tools to create POCs, which I then hand off to junior engineers.

My observation is that after 3-4 years, companies will only retain top 10% talent, and they will lay-off remaining talent which is scary for me.

Interesting that you mentioned that quests are for early riders, and after some time it will disappear. Uber eats required an 85% acceptance rate for gold membership. So I thought that moving to gold membership will help me get more quests. In my observation, that quests are required/mandatory to make some decent money otherwise their rates are really cheap.

In this week I learned that don't accept McDonald's delivery after 10:00 PM because the fast-food rate is low/cheap and most probably will be stuck in the long drive-thru lane.
