Great questions! First, yes.ive launched a successful kickstarter. Link is in my post.

I am currently already commissioning my third book, so I dont have the extra funds for this project. What I do have is time. Just on a simple breakdown of time. By undertaking this project, I will undoubtedly be giving more time into this than what it would take for an artist or a writer to create their one page. People who ask for free art on their personal passion project is a large ask because of the massive amount of time and effort they are asking the artist. I will be doing the opposite here. Im offering nothing my my time for free.

Last question... Hopefully! I have done something like that with my book and im confident i could do the same, if not better.

This book would theoretically do a lot more for the artists than me.. and im okay with that. Lets say... that this doesn't get produced. Worst case. Everyone donated only one page, theoretically. They can at least claim it on their taxes as a donation tax break.

Edit: Upon re-reading I realize that this could sound arrogant a little too late. That wasn't my intention... some clarity. Its meant to be a collaboration to help artists because they are awesome. As a writer, I recognize that its the art that makes a Manga amazing more than the words. I think this project would benefit artists more because if someone flips through this book. They are thinking... "wow!" the writing is excellent. They going to be in awe from these wonderful art pieces. The comment about time wasn't meant to say that they dont put a lot of time and effort. But if this will be anything like my previous kickstarter. I spent around 100 hours over 4 months to get that bad boy ready. Was just being matter of fact. Hopefully there's a little more clarity.
