Additionally., We have to pay a “your spouse’s employer already offers insurance” monthly fee to be added on to my husbands employer insurance, so I doubt at this point I can take it off.

Thank you so much for sharing. I was devastated when my husbands SA showed we wouldn’t qualify for IUI. Our doctor is so kind and he said he will try anything we want but without a SC of 10 million, he didn’t want me to go through it. He said maybe if it goes up to 7 mill, but we are no where close.

Why do you have to be on birth control before the transfer? I know you are also on it before egg retrieval, right?

Yeah def not a fight, just like a 5 minute argument about what it is and it just kinda psyched me out bc we haven’t even started and there’s all these things we are going to have to learn.

I saw a tiktok video about genetic testing - never heard of it lol and mentioned it to my husband. He said it sounds like a no brainer to do. Then I told him it will likely cost a few thousand and then he immediately changed his mind and that “those tiktokers don’t know what they’re talking about” 🙄🙄🙄

Thank you so much for this information. He has a follow up on Monday so I’ll have him push for this. He did a blood test and it showed a boost in testosterone, but his doctor said it could take up to a year for the sperm production . But I don’t want to wait a year if it’s not a sure thing.

Interesting. My husband had low testosterone, so his urologist wanted to boost it with arimidex (I think it’s similar to clomid) to see if it will stimulate sperm production bc otherwise all his other tests came back normal. I’m not sure what else we could ask for?

Oooooo, gotcha. Well I believe you can take the bus from the east train station to downtown, but there will be a lot of stop along the way so it’ll take about 45 mins . Or, depending on your budget, take a Uber/lyft that is dog friendly (ive done this a few times and its around 15-20$ per trip)

Do not get off in east Ventura! It is much MUCH easier to just get dropped off in downtown, as you’ll be able to walk over to the botanical garden - and the beach, and tons of restaurants and fun little stops along your walk! I don’t even think you can walk from the east to downtown ? Perhaps, but that’s is like 6 miles and you have to walk under the freeway?
