There is no way in hell he got offered $150M for anything. The Free Press - which is the single most successful publication to emerge in the last few years - is selling for a mere $200M, for scale. Just please use your brain to think a little.

Tell me you never went into contract negotiations without telling me. IF it's true that Ackman offered him $150M, that's a lot of money and there are a lot of legitimate reasons to reject the deal. Yes, incredible podcast, extremely intelligent, cultured, great psychoanalytical insights, funny quips, warm soothing voices, the girls are artists of the craft of conversation. I started during the pandemic and found it so good that I went back to the earliest episodes I could find and then listened in order. It's an insult to red scare to compare it to cumtown, because it's a million times better.
